Every wedding I work on is a new experience, what other job on the planet can say that!!.. The atmosphere is always full of excitement. Timing is essential so its important to keep the excitement from turning into panic, this only happens when a bride is running late, so yes, I arrive early and keep things moving, allowing the Bride time to enjoy those precious moments when its time to step into her gown. This is when I do the all-important final touch up.

With a makeup trial behind us, I know exactly what look my Bride wants!! The trial allows for a skin assessment with time to advise on a skin care routine. A good skin care routine ensures the complexion is in tiptop condition for the big day.

.Ciara’s skin prepped ‘primed I applied Christian Dior Foundation with a Makeup Forever foundation brush No 108. The formula and colour was a perfect match for Ciara’s skin.

To get the glow into the heart of he foundation, I then applied a lighter shade of the foundation down the center of the nose to the tip, with a small amount of the lighter base down each side of the nose, working out slightly toward the apple of the cheek and stopped there! I made sure it was even on both sides, dabbing a little onto the centre of the chin I softly patted the lighter shade into place with my fingertips

Foundation was set with Clarins Mineralised powder. Contouring with Clarins Matte Bronzer.Blusher. I used Melba by MAC

Ciara’s eyes popped with MAC Shadows in Bronze for Contour, Woodwinked for lid, and Shroom over brow bone and nylon to highlight the inner corners of the eyes. When working on eyes. I always start with base shade, then contour, Medium, shade on lid and lastly I highlight the inner corner of the eyes.   What brought the look together was the liner, Mascara and individual eyelashes..  Brows were brushed up and sculpted with Clarins eyebrow pencil. To finish I kept the lips soft with Spice Liner and Hug Me Lipstick both by MAC.

To end a few photos I took of Ciara’s family.
