Like all soaps (even the best ones), it dries out my skin. That's why I use a moisturizing toner and matching cream after washing. I also recommend the lavender and olive ones from this series. The olive one especially stood out to me!

The lather is gentle and thick, and it lathers on a loofah just as well as any shower gel. It slightly dries out the skin during cold weather, but not in the summer.
