Guerlain Les Voilettes Translucent Loose Powder Mattifying Veil Mattifying Powder

I did not see a long-lasting matte effect from this powder. I have combination skin, and it only stayed matte for 2-3 hours. Overall, it's good, very lightweight, and when the skin gets oily, the mask effect is not visible. But I would recommend it more for normal and dry skin.

Beautiful expensive packaging, sealed with mica, but inside a lot of powder spilled into the box, everything is covered in powder, had to immediately wash the powder itself, and throw away the box. The smell is strong, at the beginning of use it was irritating, seemed like an old lady's scent. Then I just fell in love with this smell. My skin is oily in the T-zone and I was hoping for some mattifying effect according to reviews, but it only lasts for an hour. I won't buy it again.

Favorite powder. It is lightweight and at the same time conceals imperfections, mattifies all day.

I've never written reviews before, but I decided to write this time. I love this powder and have been using it for a long time. BUT what makeup sent me is not at all similar to the original powder!!!!
First of all, the packaging was without the film that this product usually comes with. Secondly, the powder had a very strong smell, while the original has a very pleasant and delicate scent. Well, I don't know about the rest of the makeup products from this brand, but I can definitely say that this product is a FAKE!!!!

On the one hand, it's like a good powder - light and perfectly mattifying (I have combination skin with a very oily forehead), shine doesn't appear until the evening. But on the other hand, this is the first powder in my experience that settles into the pores on my cheeks and nose, turning them into tiny craters. I tried applying less, I tried applying more, on top of foundation, on top of primer, just on moisturized skin - the result is the same. I apply it with a soft fluffy brush, shaking off the excess product - and yet it emphasizes the pores, clogging them with yellow spots. I'll have to use it only on my forehead. Disappointed, because I've never had this issue even with much cheaper powders.

Great powder! The medium shade is perfect for any time of the year, not just summer. It's like the perfect beige. Light, weightless, not noticeable on the skin. It passed the test of a hot day with activity, and the skin remained velvety, without oily shine. Everything as it should be. The powder is matte, without shimmering particles, and has a light scent that can only be felt in the bottle and during the first few minutes of application to the skin. This powder satisfied all the needs of combination skin. A solid 5 out of 5.

If you are looking for a powder that will replace your foundation, then this is not it. But a powder should not give that effect on its own. It is an excellent light veil, mattifies, gives a velvety texture to the skin, has a wonderful scent, I am satisfied.

For many years, I have loved and purchased this powder, which has had two reissues in my lifetime. The 10g volume has become smaller, but still, considering the cost per gram of powder, it is inexpensive.

I apply it with my brush. I only use it at home because the latest version has a poorly screwing inner lid-dispenser.

Pros: it does not emphasize dry patches or pores. It applies thinly, like a veil (as indicated in the powder's name). It lasts long enough on my combination skin.
I have fair skin, and shade 2 is a perfect match. For summer, I need a shade darker, like shade 3.
It has a very delicate and pleasant scent of violets.

I have been using this powder for more than 10 years. It's my love. But for the first (and last) time, I ordered it on Makeup, gave in to the discount. What came to me was not even remotely reminiscent of the neat Guerlain powder. First of all, the packaging. There was no sticker that usually seals the packaging. But that's not a problem. The problem was inside. Everything was scattered in the powder. Probably, they opened it. Because there was only half of the powder itself. I was very frustrated and angry.

This powder is very finely ground, it sits on the face very thinly, hides pores, and mattifies my oily skin well. It doesn't cake on the face. And what's very important is that it is priced per gram like NYX powder.
