Terrible mascara. There is too much product on the brush, it flakes off during the day, and it doesn't have any effect on the lashes except for clumping the mascara on the hairs. The only plus is the beautiful black color.

The mascara would be great if there wasn't so much of it on the brush. Yes, you can remove the excess, but you still can't remove it all. It happens every time. Because there is so much mascara on the brush, it doesn't separate the lashes, it just clumps them together. But it does visually enhance the lashes - that's a fact. My lashes are generally long, but they are light in color. This mascara emphasizes all the lashes, but it clumps them together, and that's a big drawback. The manufacturer needs to think about improving the texture.

If you don't mind spending money every month to buy this mascara, go ahead and buy it! Initially, I couldn't be happier but unfortunately.

Mixed feelings. Yes, the first week it colors well, but over time the mascara dries very quickly and it becomes harder to apply it on the lashes. In my opinion, there are mascaras that are half as cheap and do not lag behind in quality.

Mascara bomb! Its smell is unreal! Not dry, fresh. It perfectly colors, separates lashes, provides perfect curl and length. Very satisfied! When it runs out, I will buy more! (if there is a good discount on it, of course)))

The mascara came as if it was not fresh, very thick or, in other words, dried out. As a result, after a month it turned into a paste. The plus side of this mascara is that it is intensely black and truly waterproof, so it deserves a solid five stars. Most likely, if the mascara had arrived fresh, everything would have been great, but unfortunately, I probably won't buy it again for the second time.

This mascara is really luxurious! I received it as a gift for the first time and have been buying it ever since because it creates the coolest effect on my lashes: it turns my short lashes into long and fluffy ones. It doesn't smudge or clump. It looks bomb!

I absolutely do not share the general enthusiasm. The mascara is not worth the money. It clumps on the lashes, not in separate clumps. The lashes stick together almost as one! There is too much mascara on the brush. I had to brush it out with another clean lash brush to remove the dirt. Yuck. Extremely disappointed.

Well, what can I say... I used it for many years with great pleasure. Then I started looking for something new. But... you don't look for good things when you already have something good. So I bought it and remembered that this mascara is the best. At least for me personally!

The mascara goes on very well, coats each lash. I love the burgundy color, it suits green eyes very well. I don't know of a better mascara, even though I've tried different brands from both the mass market and luxury class.

Wow, what a cool mascara, I missed it. I haven't used it in a while, even though it's my favorite, but it's as expensive as a plane ticket) I decided to treat myself and I really didn't regret it. I really wished it was cheaper because it's so much more expensive than other mascaras, it's really expensive for a product that lasts a few months. The effect is wow, very evening, bright.

Ordinary mascara. Maybelline is 4 times cheaper and it both curls and lengthens noticeably.

The best mascara out of all that I have tried. And there have been many. The lashes are perfectly coated, fluffy, and thick. One coat of mascara is enough to do the job. An amazing product. I have tried other brands but this one has been my favorite for about 10 years.

YSL - doesn't apply well, or rather, I even checked if it had expired because you apply it... and you can't see that anything has been applied. Maybe that's how it's intended - invisible mascara. I don't know. But when you wash it off, it leaves black circles.

I will write a positive review!!! I have been using this mascara for 10 years. It lasts exactly one year. If it dries out faster for you, it means the mascara is not fresh (you should pay attention to the date). No clumps on the lashes, no staining of the skin!!!! Applies with just two strokes. Removes easily with regular makeup remover, doesn't crumble or run. However, I do buy it for a higher price, around $35 for 2 pieces.

First of all, I have the feeling that my eyelashes became thinner after applying two coats, so what kind of "false eyelashes" effect is there?

Secondly, it flakes off. After a couple of hours, there are traces under my eyes. And this is after the first use... Of course, it must be due to the "linear movements", apparently.

Thirdly, the price... The question is: what justifies it if the mascara is so subpar?

There is a fantastic Hourglass mascara that is cheaper and works wonders on my lashes.

I don't want to compare it to the budget segment, but Maybelline or L'Oreal are much better than YSL by several times.

Not a bad mascara. But only worth buying on a good deal. It lengthens and adds a bit of volume. Starts to flake quite soon. Dries out accordingly. The brown color looks almost black. No matter how you twist it with linear movements, the result is the same. I bought it three times. All three times the effect and its longevity were much worse and less than with Dior Blackout. Lancome also flakes less, but the effect is worse than with this one. But it's better to have natural lashes than to look like a panda by the evening.

Ambiguous mascara! It provides good length and volume, but it clumps and dries very quickly. Sometimes, you may not have enough time to apply another coat before it dries. On the positive side, it is long-lasting and waterproof. Pupa mascara provides a similar volumizing effect. I probably won't buy it again.

I read good reviews and decided to buy it. After an hour of applying the mascara, it started to crumble under the eyes. By the end of the day, I felt discomfort in my eyes. It's a pity, it didn't work for me.

Not bad at all, works well on my thin lashes. It doesn't provide much volume, but it lengthens and gives a natural and fresh look. I received a sample of Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effect Faux Cils as a gift with a foundation. I might consider getting the full version.

This mascara is really cool.
It gives voluminous and fluffy lashes.
Lancome and Vivienne Sabo are far behind it.

My lashes are naturally sparse and short, but this mascara really makes them voluminous and beautiful.

The only downside is that it runs out quickly because when there's not much left, it doesn't give the same volume anymore.

I really liked the mascara, I bought it in December 2019, in shade number 6, dark blue. The "false eyelashes" effect is achieved with the second coat, it slightly clumps the lashes when applying the second coat, but it's not critical, it doesn't crumble, the color transfers well onto the lashes, it lifts and lengthens them. The mascara looks very impressive on the eyes. I use it for special occasions, less often on weekdays, as the mascara looks better with evening makeup. I store the mascara in the refrigerator, the consistency of the mascara hasn't changed, it hasn't dried out throughout the year.

I want to apologize to this mascara. I previously wrote a review saying that the mascara was not the right one. Apparently, it was very fresh. The mascara is excellent, compared to others, it is still the best for me. This time it lasted for 3 months. Probably because of its freshness.

This is love at first application. The color (I have brown), texture, and effect (very natural, beautiful, soft lashes that can be made dramatic if desired) are all perfect. It is easy to remove and does not smudge. The most important thing is that they continue to produce it.

It withstands the test of twenty-four hour shifts))) It washes off easily! Moreover, this mascara doesn't damage the lashes. Bought in Rome. My favorite mascara, which I always considered the best of all. What can I say. YSL mascara from five years ago and now are two different mascaras. Even luxury brands are starting to deteriorate. It colors well, but doesn't give that wow effect of false lashes. Maybelline Lash Sensational is unfortunately no worse, but even better. It's a pity to admit this...

And I am very satisfied with this mascara. I already have long lashes, but with this mascara, they are super. Pleasant scent. The only downside is that it dries quickly in the tube, but if you add a couple of drops of Visine eye drops to it once a week, it lasts longer.
