Tar Balm Golden Pharm

I used it before, about six months ago... I remember liking it, but then switched to another product. Recently, I had a terrible allergy to a new eye cream... I didn't know what to do... I remembered that there was such a miraculous balm, found it, applied it at night... and voila - in the morning, half of the mess on my face was gone and most importantly, the swelling went down (I also took antiallergenic tablets at night).

Now I have returned it to its rightful place among my favorite products.

Recommendations for application:
Since it is very oily and poorly absorbed, I recommend applying it only to problem areas with a thin layer (just a little bit) or another option is to apply generously a couple of hours before sleep, then gently blot your face with a dry, clean tissue. The excess will be absorbed by the tissue and you don't have to worry about the balm staining your pillowcase.

I also recommend removing it first with a hydrophilic oil, and then with your usual cleanser.

I have been suffering from hormonal acne for 10 years - this is one of the few products that REALLY HELP.

Dryness, cracks, eczema - it will heal and moisturize. The smell is tolerable. A good remedy.

I am very pleased with this balm! I apply it directly a few hours before bed, then wash it off. It dries well and within a few days, inflammation significantly decreases or even disappears. I recommend it!

Very cool thing, reduces inflammation, does not dry out the skin. I apply it locally at night. However, it doesn't absorb at all and stains the pillowcase, but the result is worth it.

So-so. No "wow" effect. Dries out the skin. Used it to fight periodic breakouts, endured its disgusting consistency and smell, but it didn't really shine with its effect. Even salicylic acid works better. Won't take it again.

The consistency is terrible. At first, it wipes off yellow water, then becomes a solid base. It is greasy and cannot be washed off with soap. It does not absorb into the skin. I have no idea how people sleep with it, as it will make the entire pillow dirty and everything will be smudged in general.

The balm dries out, almost to the point of itching. I applied a thin layer before bed for several days, but in the morning, dryness and itching started to appear, and it got worse with each passing day. I stopped using it, and the symptoms went away. Now I use it no more than once every three days, only on specific areas for a few hours, and wash it off with face wash. It works for minor inflammations, but if you have sensitive skin, you need to use it carefully. It didn't help with my hand dermatitis.

I make a straight mask from this balm. I apply a thin layer to the entire face and leave it on for an hour, sometimes I even fall asleep. It miraculously eliminates inflammation, redness, and breakouts (those who have had demodicosis will understand!). And I wash it off with handmade soap or with La Roche Posay - Lipikar gel, that's it. You can also later wipe your face with tea tree oil, diluted with water - it's good for combination and very oily skin, it tones and refreshes well.

Great product! I have combination skin with enlarged pores and occasional breakouts. I usually use only Bioderma or Avene, but I decided to try this product and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't dry out my skin and evens out the complexion.

Really works - apply at night on pimples, in the morning they dry out very well and quickly go away. Great thing for problem skin and very economical at the same time.

This balm was initially bought for my husband (he gets frostbite and the result is immediately visible on his face). But he didn't like it, even though there was an effect (it doesn't absorb, forms a film, excess needs to be wiped off with a tissue - in general, it's a typical man thing). Recently, my mom had skin problems on her legs. She was working in the garden and got a considerable rash from various insect bites. She didn't know what to do, she said it was terribly itchy (and it didn't look good either), and it didn't go away for about a week and a half. I gave her this balm, and she was skeptical, saying she was afraid it might make things worse. In the end, just a couple of days later, she enthusiastically talked about how wonderful this balm is, and how it saved her, and that it's worth its price. So definitely, this balm should be kept at home, as a handy tool, at least for such unpleasant situations.

We use it with my husband for the skin on our backs and hands after taking a shower. It dries and eliminates breakouts, but as far as I can judge, it does not create a cumulative effect.
