This lotion has a gentle and fragrant scent. It absorbs easily and deeply nourishes the skin. The price is excellent, and the quality of the product is outstanding!
I have skin that does not require constant moisturizing, so I use this lotion when I want to give it some extra care and pampering. The scent is pleasant, but apart from leaving a greasy, sticky film on the body, it doesn't provide any benefits. Most importantly, I can't actually feel any moisturizing effect. The same goes for my hands - this product is useless and inconvenient to use.
I did not purchase it here. I did not like it. The smell is strong, chemical-like, and lingers for several days. I will not buy it again.
I liked the fragrance so much that I also bought the hand cream and shower gel from the same series. The scents are similar but still different. As a lotion, it is the most pleasant of all. I like the effect of all Dove balms, so I tried the coconut, matcha, and wheat ones as well. All the scents are excellent, but shea butter and coconut are my favorites. Shea butter is the sweetest and slightly cloying, perfect for winter. Coconut is lighter, but the scent lingers on the skin for a while. Matcha is the freshest and lightest of all, floral but not sweet. Wheat is very subtle and does not stay on the skin for long. It resembles grains with milk, a very delicate scent. The consistency also varies depending on the scent. Shea butter and coconut are thicker and more oily, nourishing the skin well. Matcha and lotus are lighter and better suited for summer. Wheat is a neutral option: moderately nourishing but not too greasy, and it moisturizes the skin well. In short, I like it, so I recommend it.
