Great oil for dry hair, really love the smell and texture. It lasts a long time, which is important to me. My brittle hair looks well-groomed and shiny after using this oil.
The oil is very difficult to wash out of the hair. I did not notice any effect from its use.
Very good oil. I'm buying it for the second time. It effectively reduces dryness and irritation on the scalp. I apply it on my scalp and dry hair for two hours or overnight. Then I rinse it off and use my regular hair care products. My hair looks amazing!
This product worked great for my dry, thick, unruly, and fluffy hair. The scent is slightly pine-like and pleasant. It should only be applied to wet hair. After washing, my hair shines and is easy to style. The packaging is in a glass bottle. The dispenser is not convenient - it spills when pouring into the hand.
Didn't like it at all!
It weighs down the hair a lot and after styling, the hair looks neglected and I feel like washing my head again.
I have very thin hair, maybe it would be more suitable for thick hair.
The oil has a pleasant aroma. The hair really becomes softer and shinier. I personally use this oil as a mask at night or an hour before washing my hair. So far, I am satisfied with the result. I will continue to buy this product along with the lotion from the same line.
The smell is very pleasant, but it's a matter of personal preference and individual results, especially based on the initial condition of your hair. It requires patience, doing everything comprehensively and regularly. It's not a magical remedy, you won't get a "wow" effect. But I am very satisfied with this product from Weleda, I can see the desired shine and care for my hair.
The jar is very small, but there is a lot of it and it is not necessary. A few drops are enough to rub in your palms and apply it along the entire length. Do not use it after washing, as the hair will be greasy. I had to wash it again. It's better to use it as a mask before washing. Very oily.
I read reviews from some ladies and I want to say that personally the oil suited me. Everything needs to be used in combination and systematically, there is no magical jar that will make your hair like Rapunzel's and all the men on the street will fall for the shine of your hair. I have been using this line for half a year, the oil and tonic from Velede as well. I had problems with hair loss and dryness, after two weeks of use (intensive, meaning at least 3 times a week) "baby hair" appeared on my head)) I currently use it twice a week and I am absolutely satisfied. I want to add that no oil, shampoo, or anything else will have an effect without a rational diet and normal hormonal balance. So it's worth delving deeper into the problem. Oh, and about the smell, it seems I'm from the cohort who likes it, I agree that it's a matter of personal preference, but come on, we're all different.
Natural oil, that's a plus. It's best to use it before washing your hair, as a mask. As for the effect, what effect can you expect if hair is dead protein and it won't change no matter what you apply to it, moisturize, nourish, or wash it. It's also greasy for me, and when you apply even a little after washing, it becomes greasy and at the same time collects dust and dirt faster. Let's say it's 50/50. It's up to you to decide.
I liked the hair oil. I use it together with coconut oil or shea butter for better consistency and cost-effectiveness. I melt the oil in a water bath and add Weleda oil. I apply the warm mixture to my hair overnight. After coloring my hair, I needed to restore it. There is an effect, but I would like more. The hair is smoother, shinier, and more alive. I used 2 jars, but I don't see a noticeable effect yet. But in any case, I can recommend the oil. Personally, I liked the scent, as well as the entire Weleda product line. It has a calming effect on me.
I bought the oil after reading positive reviews. In my opinion, I will never buy it again after finishing the jar. The smell is terrible, and there is no effect at all. In the beginning, they even felt like straw, I kept them overnight and for a couple of hours before washing. Just a waste of money.
I didn't understand this product at all. The only effect I saw is that if I don't plan to style my hair, I apply a couple of drops and the frizziness goes away. The hair "hangs calmly" )) That's it.
You should literally take a couple of drops, because it's easy to overdo it and then it's like a long unwashed homeless person ))
They write about an unpleasant smell. I disagree, I liked it, but probably it's a matter of personal preference.
Real natural keratin is not chemistry. It smoothes hair, eliminates frizz, and is a great find for damaged blondes. It adds shine, silkiness, and softness.
I don't like this smell. There is no point in using it. Well, it's natural, but sunflower oil is also natural. Pointless, threw it away.
I completely agree with Irina's comment. The oil is nothing special, but the smell is amazing.
There is no effect no matter how you use it. It's just a well-advertised product.
I would also like to add my disappointment about the gift, or rather its almost absence. I made several orders in a row for a large amount, and both times I received tiny samples of a cheap local shampoo, which went straight into the trash. I am confused.
This is probably a good product, but I want to write about the smell. It's not a woody forest scent at all!
The first association is with moth repellent. Remember? Yes. Lavender.
I don't understand why rosemary is highlighted and drawn on the packaging as the main scent. Lavender is much stronger!!!
The oil is indeed nourishing, but I use it on the roots and length before washing. Since I tried it on dry hair - I didn't take much, but they still became greasy.
The smell is so overpowering because of the keratin. That's why it smooths any hair very well. On wet hair, just a few drops the size of a small coin are enough for the ends - it's very concentrated. It doesn't last on the hair until the next wash. It nourishes blonde hair well and gives it shine and liveliness. I really liked it.
I used it on my dry ends after washing and before styling, but my hair still looked frizzy until the next wash, nothing absorbed. Maybe next time I'll apply it the night before washing, just to make sure the pillowcase doesn't get greasy.
I still don't know how the effect will be in the future, I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I like it. I'll write about the smell. As soon as I opened it, a strong smell of rosemary hit my nose, it was really intense. I was disappointed because strong smells give me a headache. But girls! For those who are afraid of the smell, don't be! It dissipates very quickly and you won't feel it anymore! At first, I thought I just got used to this smell on my hair, so I tested it on my husband. He couldn't feel anything either. The scent quickly fades away. It will last for a long time and even get annoying.
I apply it generously, like a mask before washing, and a little bit after washing, for shine. The oil is quite thick, not like slippery silicones. I don't regret buying it. I like that my hair looks alive.
This is magic! My hair is long and gets tangled easily, even with conditioner. Now I wash my head with L'Occitane shampoo and a drop of this oil - my hair is smooth, shiny, and easy to comb!
It's pleasing that it's completely natural! I applied it to my hair overnight and after washing, I used a small drop on dried hair, it's amazing!
Definitely 5 stars) I noticed that hair growth has increased since I started using this product. I can see the benefit. In my opinion, the scent is not overpowering. Yes, it's herbal, but not intrusive. The most important thing is that there are results.
Overall, I am satisfied, but if you use it on wet hair after washing, you really only need one drop, and with this dispenser, it is not that easy, it is very easy to overdo it, in which case the hair becomes greasy. But when I manage to apply a drop, my friends think that I have trimmed the ends because the cut becomes very lively and fresh!
The oil was disappointing... I have been using hair oils for a long time. I buy ready-made ones and make my own oil blends. For such a price, I expected the effect that was claimed in the description, BUT... this oil dries out my hair! My hair is thin, curly, with dry ends... and after using this oil, my hair becomes stiff, tangled, unruly, not even a high-quality shampoo and mask can save it... In short, DISAPPOINTMENT. Not to mention the smell... I could tolerate it if there was an effect from the oil. I carefully read the ingredients and everything fell into place. The base is peanut oil... Not shea, not olive, but cheap peanut oil... For such a price and volume, you can afford a high-quality product from other brands. This was my first purchase from Weleda... I don't think I will buy anything else. Disappointment...
The oil is really good if used correctly. But there is a big HOWEVER... and that is its smell. Upon application, there is a pleasant (for some, not so much) herbal scent, but the next day after applying, the hair smells like used cooking oil. I wash my hair every 3 days, and this is a problem because I don't want to wash them every day because of the smell...
I am very happy with the oil! I bought a second bottle. The first one lasted more than a year (I have thick and long hair). I applied it more often after washing my hair, on the ends. Thank you, Makeup, for the fast delivery.
What a luxurious oil) It works wonders with my hair. I used to love Keratin from CHI the most, but after trying this oil, I fell in love. You only need a tiny drop of it, otherwise your hair will be greasy. I applied it both overnight and after washing. I like it both ways. What also attracted me is that this oil has healing properties. It not only has a cosmetic effect, but also a therapeutic one. In short, from now on I will only order this one)))
I use it exclusively before washing my hair. I apply it generously on the length of my hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. It rinses off easily, and most importantly, there are results - my hair becomes silky and there is no smell of rosemary, which I don't like. I tried using it after washing, but it made my hair greasy.
Good product. I apply it before washing my hair. Noticed results after 3 uses. Hair looks better. However, it doesn't control frizz. It smells like rosemary. The scent doesn't linger after washing my hair.
Good restorative product! I give my hair a break from silicones, wash my hair with Sante shampoo and conditioner, and use this oil either before washing or just a little bit on the ends before blow drying. And with each use, my hair becomes more alive! I didn't expect such an effect from natural oils!
Good product, but if you overdo it, you will have to wash your hair again. So, it's better to rub a little bit in your hands and apply it on the ends before blow-drying for clean hair. It's even better to leave it on for a couple of hours before washing, as mentioned in previous reviews.
I also liked the oil, I use it before washing my hair, under a cap, for an hour or even overnight. My hair has become softer and it styles beautifully, I am very satisfied. I also really like the scent of rosemary, it's a night skincare + aromatherapy :) I have bought apricot kernel oil and castor oil from other manufacturers, but they did not give me the same effect as Valeda's. Now I am trying their other products.
Good oil. I apply it before washing my hair, under a plastic cap, for several hours. I wash my hair with a silicone-free, SLS-free shampoo, etc. As a result, my hair is shiny and looks strong. The volume is small, but the consumption is minimal, even though I apply quite a lot of oil to my hair. I recommend it.
Excellent hair oil. I love natural products and the composition of this one fully suits me. I use it after washing my hair, applying it to the ends and up to the middle of the length. It doesn't make the hair greasy at all and absorbs well.
I liked it! I used it as indicated on the package: rubbed a few cracks in my hands and applied it to my hair for a few minutes before washing. The effect is good!
I bought it to try and accidentally fell in love with it. Now I can't live without it, I use it every three days (I wash my hair every day) and within the first two months, my dry hair (after coconut oil and silicone masks) became manageable, smooth, and shiny. I got used to the smell quickly. Now I buy it in advance, just in case they stop producing it suddenly.
I liked the hair oil, my hair felt silky after using it, and it has a medicinal scent (which is actually common for this whole product line), but I even like it.
The oil is very good, I haven't tried anything better. I apply it at night and rinse it off in the morning, and my hair looks amazing because of it. The results are visible immediately, the only downside is the small volume. I recommend it.
Super oil for dry dyed hair, I apply it for an hour before washing or leave it overnight, moisturizes the ends, the smell is wonderful.
I completely agree with all the positive reviews about this oil. It really works. I apply it a couple of hours before washing my hair.
Luxury oil, it really works. The main thing is to use it correctly. Do not apply it to the roots or scalp, only on the main length and ends. And definitely BEFORE washing your hair, not after. Let it stay on the hair longer, ideally - all night, minimum - 2 hours. Then, of course, you need to wash your hair a couple of times with a neutral shampoo. The result is amazing, my thin, bleached hair is lively, vibrant, and elastic, like after an expensive salon treatment.
And, of course, this oil is one of the stages of caring for problem hair, do not rely on it as a magic wand, after drying the hair, you still need a moisturizing spray or something that you usually use in the finishing stage :)
I really liked this oil, I have curly, long hair. I use it after washing my hair, applying it all over the length on wet hair. As a result, my hair smells nice (I love herbal scents) and, to my surprise, the oil helps to define my curls. Using it as a mask before washing is too expensive for me, coconut oil is better for that. It's a pity that the volume of this product is small. Well, thank you Makeup for the timely delivery.
I tried applying the oil both as a mask on my scalp and on the ends. My hair is dry and it doesn't become greasy after application. I really liked the natural composition and the scent. After applying the oil to dry hair, it becomes soft and less fluffy.
To prevent the oil from making the hair look "unfresh" after washing, apply a DROP (literally) of it, rubbing it in the palms beforehand to warm it up. And of course, it is necessary to be aware that it will not stick your split ends together, but will nourish the hair. Therefore, for that "special" effect - get rid of split ends and after washing, apply a DROP of oil to the hair.
The oil is AMAZING! - the chlorine in the pool has significantly dried out my hair, but the oil makes them lively, manageable, and shiny again. And despite the 50 ml volume, it lasts for a long time.
I use it after washing on the ends. Afterwards, the hair feels soft and silky.
Not a bad oil. However, after using it, you still need to wash your hair again. I apply it before washing my hair for 10-20 minutes. The scent is really rich and herbal. Result: the ends of my hair are truly moisturized and look nice. If you're using it on clean hair like me, know that you will need to rinse it off.
I really liked this oil! I apply it to my hair before washing. It nourishes the hair very well, especially the ends. I also use it on my scalp - it relieves itching and dandruff. It's amazing!
