Among the entire range of Amouage fragrances, this is a true classic in the best traditions of French perfumery! It is like an Eastern version of Chanel No. 5 for sophisticated Muslim ladies. And for us, it is simply Dia - a Goddess!

It is suitable for spring and autumn, but it's better to be careful with it in the summer (the price is quite high), as the heat quickly diminishes the fragrance. And furthermore... some people write about its similarity to Climat... Nonsense!!!!! There is nothing in common, at least not with my favorite notes. But if Suar de Lune from Sisley has something in common with vintage Ellipse, then from the first notes of this fragrance, I immerse myself in pleasant memories of the past. Fragrances should not be compared... they should be immersed in and lived in, radiating light and goodness.
Olya, the fragrance of your mother - "Climat" by Lancome. The fragrance "Dia" is made in the same traditions of old good French classics. The pyramid of Climat and Dia is similar primarily due to the aldehydes that give the fragrance a powdery note, which you perceive as retro. I recommend it to everyone who misses "Climat". The resemblance is undeniable. But even more, the scent of the perfume "Vesenniye" (Spring) from the times of the USSR, which were jointly produced with France, solid, in a lipstick-shaped case with a flower on it. The smell is very similar. In general, "Dia" is a time machine :))))))

Only knowing for sure what it is and how much it costs, you try to convince yourself that it's worth it and smells somehow special, and that everyone should definitely be delighted. In reality, at the party all evening I tried to stay away from the strangely smelling lady, because the scent, to put it mildly, did not make any impression, and there were better fragrances flying around. Only later did I find out what exactly she had sprayed on herself before coming. Well... once again I am convinced that more expensive doesn't mean better.

I bought it based on reviews saying "similar to Climat," as it used to be my favorite fragrance and I couldn't find a worthy replacement until now. Hooray! Dia has lived up to my expectations. It truly is similar. Not an exact copy, but it has its own goodness, not heavy and stuffy like fake versions of Climat, but softly creamy, with a lingering and expensive scent. There is no sharpness immediately after application like many other lingering fragrances, it is immediately pleasant and gradually changes. I am delighted!
