I received this perfume as a gift, the smell is quite specific, more suitable for women over 70 years old. There is a certain note that is quite irritating. Overall, it's a matter of personal preference.

There are many different perfumes, but this one is universal for me. It is suitable as an office option, as well as for an evening out... it doesn't even depend on the time of year... but just a few sprays... Some people write that the scent is for an older age group, those over 45... but I say no... I will probably say that it depends on the person themselves, their perception, and how their body reacts... This is strictly my personal opinion... but I think it's worth a try... Rare stench. This is how the grass smells like oatmeal on summer meadows. Flatly boring and honey-like. Plus, there's a gutalin factory nearby. There is no greenness, no bitterness, no play of iridescence. If you are over 47, you can start paying attention. But there are plenty of other cool green scents out there.
My husband gave it to me as a present. The scent is luxurious, very expensive, mesmerizing, BUT it is more suitable for wealthy elderly ladies. It is associated with fur, velvet, and genuine leather. It won't be suitable for young European women, not even as an evening option.
My favorite Dupont. They often talk here about the age when to use which fragrance... I want to point out that this is complete nonsense. I used this fragrance at the age of 25. It changed on my skin. It reminded me of French perfumes that women used during the Soviet Union. It is a good fragrance with different facets. The current version smells the same but doesn't change, it just gradually fades away. It seems that the composition has changed since the 90s. Any fragrance either suits you or it doesn't. That's why age, season, skin type - it's all not important. Fragrance is an individual story, that's it.
I ordered it for my mom, she really loves this noble scent, she keeps coming back to it for the fourth time, and I'm very happy to give her such a gift! The scent is long-lasting. In my subjective opinion, it's suitable for women aged 40+. The delivery, as always, is excellent! I have ordered 4 packages since the new year, and 3 of them are expensive perfumes, but there wasn't a single gift... It's a little sad about that!

Everything is beautiful here, except... the fragrance itself. The velvety deep blue box with golden embossing - it's just hard to let go of it. It just sits there - I can't bring myself to throw away this beauty.

But the fragrance itself is unclear. Pale, dull, flat - nothing special, really. Very disappointed. Why did I buy it then? - Well, back in '98, I heard it on a colleague: it was magnificent. I remembered it, but then it got "lost" among many other perfumes I wanted.
Now I saw it again and decided to buy it. Three hundred hryvnias - of course, not much money, but it turned out to be not a purchase, but a disappointment. Either the fragrance has become simplified and ruined since the late '90s, or I have become spoiled over the years of perfume abundance...
In general, the final evaluation is as follows: for the fragrance itself - a three out of five, and an additional point for the packaging and bottle.

I recognize the hand of the master. A very successful chypre fragrance that is not at all like an old lady's trunk. Unfortunately, this type of direction in perfumery has long been out of trend, and this kind of sound is popular now, just like in the times when every perfume house could boast of at least a few significant chypres. I am confident that as soon as this fragrance disappears from the shelves of offline stores, the search for the coveted bottle will begin. That's why I decided to be proactive and add chypres to my collection.
The fragrance itself is simply wonderful. A stunning start of galbanum and cedar. Unfortunately, it quickly fades on me, but I am happy with even such short-lived beauty. Besides, it is definitely not suitable for hot weather. I can imagine how beautiful it will sound in autumn.
