Stretch marks are genetic, but this oil is very pleasant. The scent is neutral, slightly sweet, and most importantly, it doesn't change into an unpleasant smell on the skin like it did with another brand. The oil absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a lingering smell of stale oil on bedding or pajamas over time, again, in comparison. No allergies have occurred. I have been buying it since giving birth purely for skincare because I liked it.

Weleda is more comfortable to apply, but it has a pine scent which, in my opinion, is too strong for pregnant women.
