This product is made from the mature fruits of the luffa plant, which are traditionally used for making loofahs. I bought it for 2 years. The last time it didn't last even a week. I won't buy it anymore.
I give it a 3 because I bought 2 of these sponges at once. One turned out to be excellent, of medium stiffness, and it exfoliates nicely. But the second one is wooden, it doesn't even get wet in water, it stays as hard as a rock. That's why the reviews are so different - it depends on luck.

Awful sponge. It is wooden and does not bend at all - because of this, it is impossible to hold it in hand (it does not take the shape of the palm). I do not recommend it at all.

For my skin, loofah is perfect, I have been using loofah sponges for the past few years. This one is good, just the right size for my palm. It does require a lot of gel, the layer of sponge could have been thicker. But overall, the sponge is made well, the main thing is not to twist it, so that the fibers do not tear, it should be thoroughly washed and dried.
Sponge is soft, delicate, but not durable at all, it tore after about three weeks.

The sponge is just great, you can rub your face as much as you want :) It doesn't scratch, but the skin feels smooth afterwards, I would even say that it slightly reduces blackheads, well, that's my subjective opinion. I've never tried better sponges. I recommend it :) The main thing is not to twist it after use, just let the water drain.
