Romanticism is embodied in the classic floral notes of a luxurious perfume composition - rose, jasmine, violet. Despite this, the fragrance is not purely floral and traditional, but rather innovative, as perfumer Francis Fabron combined floral shades and synthetic molecules of benzyl salicylate. As a result, an original spicy-floral scent was presented, becoming the progenitor of an entire series.

L'Air du Temps can be called a classic perfume with clearly defined top, heart, and base notes. Its structure is complex and multifaceted due to the use of interesting natural components. It is built around a clove note, which combines jasmine and rose in its bouquet, placed on a sweet amber-vanilla-woody base.
