One autumn day, Camille Goutal was strolling through a nighttime garden and was pleasantly enchanted by the twilight aroma emanating from the white frangipani flowers. The perfumer couldn't resist the intoxicating and enticing scent, so she captured this magical moment of a delightful night in a new fragrance named Songes.
This oriental floral composition invites you on a journey through the romantic, fairy-tale world of Mauritius with its magical sunsets and exotic gardens. In the luxurious perfumery bouquet, the opening notes reflect frangipani with tiare and jasmine, which then transition to the heart notes where frankincense with vanilla, copahu balm with pepper, and ylang-ylang emerge. The “base” is composed of vetiver, sandalwood, amber, and styrax, elegantly completing the composition.
Tenderness and enchantment permeate every facet of the exquisite and graceful bottle, which is adorned with a lightweight bow featuring numerous golden stars. This airy framing gives the classic design, inherent to Annick Goutal, a bright individuality.
Delight! Very bright aroma, feminine and memorable. The sillage is out of this world! It is
I bought it not for makeup, but the perfumes are luxurious and incredibly long-lasting. Powerful tuberose, tiare, and sunny notes, a dense, rich fragrance. This is the case when a small microspray on the neck is enough for a long-lasting trail and a two-day longevity. My bottle is still of the old design with a ribbon and a pedestal box. Very satisfied!
At first, I didn't really like the scent. It turned out that making hasty conclusions based on the initial notes is not worth it, it's better to wait... and the development of the fragrance charmed me. Frankincense with vanilla and something resembling honey. But I would like it to last longer...)))
