Having a baby is wonderful, but during childbirth, women often face a multitude of unexpected risks. To fully protect yourself from tears, practice intimate area massage using oil from the Swiss company Weleda.
The remedy saturates skin cells with vitamin E, as well as natural extracts and essential oils, promoting gradual relaxation of connective tissue and increased skin elasticity. The product strengthens the skin, making it more resilient and resistant to extreme stress. The product includes sprouted wheat oil, which deeply nourishes and moisturizes the skin, as well as essential oil of nutmeg sage and rose, possessing special activecomponents that enhance the effect of the main ingredients of the product.
Doctor's advice: start doing the massage about 6 weeks before childbirth. The massage should be done regularly, at least 3-4 times a week, for 5-10 minutes.

I don't know if the oil helped or if it was genetics. I followed all the instructions from week 34 and asked the doctor to use it during childbirth. There were no tears, so if I give birth again, I will definitely use it again. It definitely won't hurt.
Waste of money. Absolutely does not help at all!!! The tear was quite small. The doctor in the maternity ward did not use it, although she said to take it. So it was not useful and did not help. Money wasted. Therefore, I do not recommend it!!! If someone is going to have a tear, they will have it, and if someone has a certain type of skin, etc., they will not have tears, and this oil has no effect on it, it has been tested...
Terrible oil, it didn't work for me. I am not prone to allergic reactions, but I started itching from this oil. Very unpleasant. Moreover, there were 2 trials, with a break, and after the second time after the break, everything repeated again. It clearly dries out the skin.
I used the oil almost every day, I did massages before giving birth according to the instructions. It moisturizes very well, but it didn't prevent tearing, we had to make an incision.
The oil is practically odorless. I started doing massages from 35 weeks once a week, then from 37 weeks every 3-4 days, and by 40 weeks, I was doing it every day. I gave birth without any tears, and I can't say for sure if it was because of the oil, but I know for sure that I would have blamed myself if I hadn't done the massages and ended up with tears or an episiotomy. In short, just like with stretch mark oil, you do it to calm your soul and know that you tried to protect yourself.
I found out about the oil at the pharmacy when I was buying oil for beauty as well. I decided to try it. I am satisfied with the result.
I haven't given birth yet, but I can't use it at all! The smell is terrible, highly concentrated! It burns me there and it's not slippery at all. Saliva slips more than this oil. Just inserting a finger is already painful, it burns, it's unpleasant, because it doesn't slide and feels like it's rubbing. Nightmare.
The oil for preparing for childbirth was also recommended by my friends. I did a perineal massage with this oil a week before giving birth. I also took it to the delivery room. The birth went safely. I am very satisfied. I will buy more.
I used it for 6 weeks before giving birth, diligently and every day. It's a shame that I couldn't prevent tears.
I bought it for my wife, we started using it a few weeks before giving birth. We did massages intensively, watched massage techniques on the internet. Whether it was the oil or genetics, it's unknown, but in the end, the birth went smoothly without any tears.
It helped me give birth without tears. It is designed to help not only prevent tears during childbirth, but also accelerate tissue healing afterwards.
I tried, massaged carefully)) but no effect. "Worked", I think, only for those with already elastic tissues there. I love Veleda, but it's definitely not worth spending money on this.
It didn't work for me. I fell for the positive reviews and bought this oil to avoid tears. I was alarmed by the strong smell of essential oils (which is strange for a product for delicate areas), but oh well... I strictly followed the instructions. BUT! Literally after three or four uses - horrible irritation, itching, and all the accompanying unpleasantness of a yeast infection. Although, I hadn't thought about candidiasis for several years before using the oil. Naturally, I had to immediately stop using it. I do not recommend it for pregnant women (or with great caution)! To avoid causing harm, as in my case. I left one star for the fact that it's not bad for massaging my feet))) Although, it's a bit expensive for the price.
I bought it, but the doctor did not recommend using it, so I will only try it on my body. It has a quite strong scent, which is strange for such an oil.
The oil didn't help me either.
I think it all depends on genetics and skin elasticity.
The oil has nothing to do with it.
The oil did not help.
On the positive side - natural composition.
I couldn't avoid breakouts, even though I massaged diligently. I believe that the price of the oil is greatly exaggerated.
+ The oil smells nice and is of good quality.
- It is completely useless, has no effect, a waste of money.
I recommend using this money to buy something for the baby instead.
Don't repeat the same silly mistakes!
I will share my experience with the oil. I gave birth in November 2019 without any tears or cuts, but the oil had absolutely nothing to do with it! I used it only a couple of times during pregnancy (sometimes forgetting, sometimes being lazy, etc.). I bought it for relaxation purposes, so I conclude that it's not about the oil, but about physiology and the midwife who assists with childbirth. Now I use this oil for my face and I really like it.
I started using this product more than a month before delivery, every evening, and for 2 weeks, I tried to use it more often. It tore, even though the baby weighed 2920 grams at birth. I think this is physiologically individual. I give it one star, at least for the fact that the natural oil did not harm me.
And the oil saved me from tears, we started massaging from the 30th week of pregnancy and as a result, I gave birth to a baby weighing 3800 without a single tear! Even though I am petite. Moreover, after childbirth, I applied the remaining oil on stretch marks and my skin became much more elastic.
I bought the oil for massage, but I didn't use it often because if you do the massage correctly, the procedure is not pleasant. During childbirth, the midwife lubricated me with oil during breaks between contractions, but since the baby was positioned incorrectly, my son just popped out completely. Only the mucous membrane tore, and after a week, I didn't even feel any stitches, so I think that if you use the oil correctly during pregnancy and childbirth, the result will be good.
A friend of mine used this oil, her baby was born weighing less than 3kg and she had tears. I used regular wheat germ oil, my baby weighed 3.5kg and there were no tears, even though I am small and weigh 45-47kg in a non-pregnant state. It all depends on how the massage is done.
The oil is good, it increased the elasticity of the tissues. However, I couldn't really test it in practice because I had a cesarean section with a large baby and a narrow pelvis. I bought it at the pharmacy for only 150 UAH.))
