Face Foundation - Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation
Very liquid foundation. Can be mixed with a thicker one.
I bought this foundation abroad, I don't know about others, but it perfectly matched my face. I don't think it differs from abroad on this website. The smell is normal and it applies perfectly as well! I have a darker complexion and the dark shade suited me perfectly!
Favorite foundation for several years now.
+ The shade is close to my skin tone and it is not visible on me.
+ It evens out my skin tone (I have some freckles).
+ It covers small redness/blemishes.
+ It looks natural on the skin, it is not visible, no mask effect.
+ Price/effect/economical in usage.
+- It does not cover pigmentation spots, red blemishes.
I have combination skin: dry-normal and normal with tendency to oiliness in the T-zone.
I bought this foundation for the first time. I bought it without the opportunity to test it.. I read reviews here. I have fair skin, blond. I took 101. Overall, it's okay, but it's a bit dark if you choose the lighter shades. Maybe I would have taken 103 or 100 then. The foundation itself is not "clay-like". It applies nicely. Lightweight. I liked it.
The foundation is good! I've been buying 101 for not the first time. But for some reason, the tape that connects the lid with the bottle was torn. It's not pleasant because someone clearly could have tampered with it.
I purchased shade 103 and I love to slightly mute my fair skin. In my opinion, it's a beautiful color that suits me well in terms of both color and texture. It doesn't emphasize any dry patches if you have combination skin. However, the scent, especially after using half of the bottle, has a weird smell of cat urine. I'm not joking, it's very distracting from its positive qualities.
I applied a tester of shade 101 Classic Ivory in the store, it looked perfect, so I bought it for 170 UAH. When I went outside and looked at my hand, it started turning orange. I felt like an orange with a tan. And another terrible thing, in my opinion, is the SMELL of the cream itself. It's some kind of cologne-like and old-fashioned scent, impossible to tolerate on the face. Overall, very disappointing.
Shade 103 suited me perfectly. It is invisible on the face. I am satisfied with it.
I have been using it not for the first time and I really like it. It applies well, does not get used up quickly, and lasts for a long time.
I didn't like it. The dispenser is forgettable, it emphasizes dryness on the skin, wrinkles become more noticeable.
The tinted cream is great! I have very oily skin, so I need to set the tone with powder again. I took number 103 for the first time and it fit perfectly (I have a yellow undertone).
I choose shade 100, I'm a blonde and it suits me. I have been using it for 2 years.
Good brand, packaging, scent, and it applies well, giving a glowing effect to the skin. However, I found two serious drawbacks for myself: the shade - I got the lightest one, but it turned out to have a pink undertone and contrasts too much with my face, and another drawback is that it doesn't cover problem skin very well.
I urgently needed a foundation, so I chose this cream on a whim, relying on the reviews. I took shade - 100 Ivory. Surprisingly, I am very satisfied! The foundation is great! The shade is a perfect match. It moisturizes. Thank you, MakeUp!
"Too dark and yellow for me."
Great foundation. I love using it in winter. The finish is natural, it has decent staying power, and it looks great on my combination skin. In the summer, I adore the Rimmel foundation with the silver lid, their quality is 10/10. The shade 103 is light with a yellow undertone.
It suited me well. It applies smoothly, doesn't clog pores, has a lightweight texture, and covers skin imperfections. The color (103) is also a good match. I won't give it five stars because of the ingredients. I haven't examined them thoroughly yet.
Despite the negative reviews, I decided to purchase this foundation. I liked it. It applies smoothly, doesn't settle into pores, and looks beautiful on the face. I have fair skin, so I chose shade 100, which slightly oxidizes and gives me a light tan that I like. I just need to apply it on my neck to avoid any noticeable difference. I will definitely buy it again.
I purchased this cream not here, but I want to warn you about it. The quality of this foundation impressed me - it covers imperfections, has a matte finish, and doesn't give a mask-like effect. Plus, it is long-lasting! It seems perfect, right? But here's the huge drawback - the shade I got, 102, is kind of orange. Can you imagine? It gives an unnecessary tanned effect, and my skin is not even that light, but it darkens it so inappropriately. It's really disappointing, and this is only shade 102. I'm afraid to think what the other shades are like.
The cream quality is excellent, it applies well on the skin, has medium coverage, BUT shade 100 makes the face look like a tangerine color.
I ordered it for a friend, so I can't say anything about the product itself, but the delivery was excellent because they now wrap it in paper instead of plastic, and the courier is always very pleasant. Thank you.
The foundation cream is simply horrible! It accentuates all the skin's imperfections and leaves patches.
Ordered the foundation in shade 010, the perfect color for fair-skinned girls. It lasted the whole day on my oily skin, I used blotting papers. It settles into pores, but overall it looks beautiful after settling.
The worst thing I have ever used. It is clearly visible on the face, like a smear.
So far, the worst foundation I've ever had. It clumps together, I've tried it with different bases, different creams, but nothing helps. It seems to create flakes where there shouldn't be any. It settles into wrinkles, especially around the nose. And the most interesting part is that if you run your finger over your face, you can easily remove it as a layer, something I've probably never seen before. It doesn't stay on the face. It doesn't stick, which is good. Well, at least the shade is suitable. And there were such good reviews.
I really liked the foundation. I got it in the Ivory shade. I have combination skin and it suited me well. I tested it for about 9 hours. The consistency is oily, but when applied and well distributed, it becomes satin-like on the face after a couple of minutes. The skin doesn't look matte, it looks beautiful and it's not visible on the face under daylight. It doesn't clog pores.
Thank you Makeup for the gift and fast delivery!
Oh no. I had high hopes for this product, as I had heard and read a lot about it, but it absolutely didn't work for me. I have dry skin, and it looks terrible on my face, like an old mask. The texture seems to sit on top of my skin, the scent is lovely, and it covers blemishes well, but... it doesn't sink into my pores and without a setting spray, it doesn't look good at all. I haven't had anything worse than this, so I don't recommend it for people with dry skin. And it didn't help that I bought it from Europe... think about it.
At first, it seemed like I liked it, but then I noticed that my face looked terrible with it. Firstly, it has a mask-like effect, the skin can't breathe and it is very noticeable on the face. I tried blending it with a damp sponge, but it didn't help. Secondly, the Ivory shade has a yellowish tone and doesn't match my fair skin. Thirdly, it caused an allergic reaction. After washing it off, I constantly noticed small pimples on my face. I stopped using it and the allergy went away. I won't continue using this cream, it's a shame that I wasted money on it.
I took shade 101, my skin is pale and for me it turned out to be darker than shade 103 which was before it. It stays well, applies evenly, and doesn't show any oily shine on the bridge of the nose. Overall, I'm satisfied, but it's better to check the shade before ordering somewhere in a store and then order it here.
The best foundation I have ever bought. I blindly chose shade 100 for fair skin, and it worked! The foundation has a creamy texture, it perfectly conceals bruises and veins around the eyes, and creates a "rested look" for the complexion.
Although I have oily skin, I still love this foundation. I like how it looks on my face and in photos. Shade 100 does oxidize slightly and becomes one or two shades darker by the end of the day.
Medium coverage, did not suit my combination skin, constantly felt the need to wash my face. One hour after application, it became very shiny on my face and transferred onto everything that came into contact with my face (phone, clothes)... and the saddest part - it clogs pores terribly.
I bought shade 100. It matches perfectly in terms of tone. The shade is neutral, it doesn't make my skin look yellow or pink, which is exactly what I needed. However, it didn't work for my oily skin, even though it is claimed to be suitable for all skin types. My face was already shiny after two hours. But it worked perfectly for my mom's dry skin.
I bought it somewhere else, shade ivory. It noticeably turns yellow on light skin. It is visible on the face and can be felt. This feeling of heaviness is normal for full-coverage foundations, but here it's heaviness + medium coverage. It's strange somehow. Moreover, it's not long-lasting at all, it tends to come off from the T-zone. Maybe it will suit those with dry skin, with a primer, and in winter. I am not satisfied with the purchase.
The coverage is medium, but it looks very nice. Since I don't have problem skin, it suits me. However, the shade is unfortunately darker than my light skin. I purchased 103 true ivory. I have to apply it all over my face to avoid any visible transitions, but since I don't need it every day, I'm waiting for summer for my skin to tan.
The foundation is not bad in that it is very lightweight and doesn't smear, but for some reason, the lightest shade 100 is a bit too dark for my fair skin. It will be suitable for summer though.
Great foundation!
I bought shade 100, and it suits my pale skin perfectly. This is a daily foundation! It has a lightweight texture that doesn't emphasize any dry patches. It evens out the skin tone! It's not a "mask" that will cover up serious problems; it won't be able to handle that. But it's also not heavy on the skin, it doesn't make the face look oily, it's a very comfortable foundation!
Ordered a foundation, didn't leave a comment right away!
I've been using it for the second week already, the foundation is light and convenient for everyday use. It applies easily and is long-lasting. Completely satisfied!
Please tell me, I have dark skin, which shade would be suitable for me?
It masks well, I guessed the shade correctly - I chose ivory for my pale skin with slight redness on the cheeks. However, one significant downside for me is that the foundation accentuates wrinkles, possibly because my skin is not in perfect condition right now - the cold and wind are taking their toll. I will try it again in the spring. For now, I have put it aside and continue to use BB cream.
I didn't like this foundation. I have very oily skin and after about 5 minutes of applying it, it starts to shine. It feels heavy on the skin, and I immediately want to wash it off. Maybe it would work for combination or dry skin since it gives a slight glow. I also didn't like the smell, even though it smells like perfume, but for me, the scent was overpowering and it lingers throughout the day without fading. I gave it to a friend, and she absolutely loves it! But unfortunately, it's not suitable for my oily skin.
I spent a long time researching reviews online and on YouTube for this foundation, and everyone was so enthusiastic that I couldn't resist and bought it. I regret it. It's true, just like everyone says, this cream is not suitable for combination or oily skin! The foundation is quite liquid, and its coverage is very weak. You need to layer it on problem areas. It doesn't sit nicely on the skin and emphasizes wrinkles and folds around the mouth. It looks like grainy powder scattered on the face. The foundation is terrible on the tip of the nose and especially on the sides of the nose, and layering doesn't really help. By midday, the foundation simply disappears from the nose, and by evening, there is no trace of it on the nose, only oily shine! Honestly, this is the worst foundation I've ever had from a drugstore (comparing it to Maybelline, L'Oreal, and Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum). My shade is 103, which is similar to shade 51-52 from Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. But Bourjois performs much better on the skin! Once again, I realized that cheap products cannot be of good quality.
Very happy with the product:
- It looks very natural on the face (shade 103 was a perfect match for my skin, which has a neutral undertone. I'm not very fair but also not dark-skinned. When I looked at shades 100 and 103 in the store, shade 100 seemed more "grayish" and neutral, while 103 appeared more peachy, but this is subjective).
- It applies well, but I would recommend using it with caution for those with combination skin, as it might make oily skin appear shiny. It seemed to me that if you don't pay attention to proper makeup removal, it could potentially cause breakouts.
- I'm thrilled with it!!! )) I don't have much to compare it to, but it's better than L'Oreal Paris Alliance Perfect foundation and Maybelline Affinitone. The latter two clearly emphasize skin imperfections.
Bought it after watching Diana Suvorova's video. Chose the shade 100 ivory because I know that many foundations tend to oxidize on the face. Was worried that I would be as white as a wall, but no! The shade matched perfectly. I think it might be a bit too dark for very fair-skinned girls, slightly yellowish. It even covers my under-eye circles! Not completely, of course, but about 60%! Which is really cool. But the main downside for me is that it's visible on the face. And it emphasizes all the dry patches.
I read in the reviews that it creates a mask effect, but I didn't notice that on my skin. For the price, it's a pretty good cream. The only thing I didn't like is the smell... it has a very strong, pleasant smell, but it's too intense. However, it dissipates after an hour or you just get used to it.
I do not recommend it for combination and oily skin. Also, take into consideration that shade 100 is quite yellow. It may not be suitable for fair-skinned individuals. I was only able to use it at the end of summer...I also do not recommend it for hot weather, unless you powder it well. Overall, it evens out the complexion and looks decent with powder, but I definitely won't repurchase it.
I have fair skin, which shade would suit me?
I like this foundation, I buy it in shade 103. I have combination skin, and the cream stays on all day, but I powder it after applying. The coverage is medium, it applies perfectly, personally I don't have a mask effect, and there is no oxidization (color change) of the shade. It held up well in very hot weather.
It didn't work for me. The foundation feels like a mask on my face, giving the constant sensation of wearing something heavy. I used it several times, wearing it all day, hoping that the foundation would perform better somehow. But no. Right from the start, it's definitely not matte, and after half an hour, it becomes shiny and oily. I had to use oil-absorbing sheets every half an hour and occasionally apply powder. By the end of the workday, I felt relieved to wash it all off my face. I agree that everyone's experience may be different, but I wouldn't recommend it to girls with oily or combination skin.
At first, I was satisfied, but then I noticed that it settles into pores and doesn't last long. At the same time, I ordered a cheaper Bell product, which is more worthy than this Rimmel.
