Givenchy Amarige Eau de Toilette

Givenchy Amarige is a rich scent. It tastes sweet like very sweet jam made from soft petals, and a bit later, the sweetness is replaced by a tartness and a beautiful base “elf hovering among the flowers!” The scent lasts long and has a soft trail, softer than Givenchy Organza. A fragrance of happiness and joy... Amarige is a bright and very distinctive floral scent that instantly unfolds on the skin with a very interesting bouquet of bitter and sweet flowers. There is a hint of sweetness, but not too much. For me, it is dominated by mimosa, orange blossom, and tuberose. First and foremost, it is a fresh, sharp, slightly bitter floral fragrance, with a floral sweetness lingering in the background.

It is a bright, floral, and intense fragrance in which it is fascinating to discover new nuances. Its sillage is noticeable even in open air and windy weather. I am happy to have it in my collection!

I didn't expect that Amarige would smell so similar to Poeme from Lancome. Both fragrances have 11 identical components. Amarige is more discreet, but still very strong, long-lasting, warm and gentle. Both perfumes are beautiful, but I wanted to experience something new, and instead I got a continuation of the acquaintance.

I received this gift in a gift box (perfume, eau de toilette, scented cream)... I'll be honest, I didn't appreciate this gift right away ))))) At first, it seemed disgusting, "old" and elderly, suffocating, just anything but my taste...
