Luxurious hair without the slightest hint of dryness and split ends? Perfectly smooth shade transitions? Intense, intriguing color that astonishes with its naturalness? This becomes reality with the innovative hair dye Color Sync Watercolors from the professional American brand Matrix. Its ease of application guarantees an excellent coloring result even without resorting to the services of a professional hairdresser.
The patented Color Sync technology initially works with the hair's structure, aligning it and filling in empty damaged areas. This ensures the even distribution of the coloring pigment and its long-lasting fixation. The hair cuticles are completely smoothed out, and the dye does not wash off, losing its shine, over a long period. The ammonia-free formula takes care of the health of your locks, and the automatic system for synchronizing the natural color with the desired shade helps achieve a truly unusual pastel tone, just like after an expensive salon coloring.
How to use: mix the dye and Matrix color sync cream activator in equal proportions. For the initial application, apply the mixture to the roots and distribute throughout the length of the hair. For subsequent colorings, the dye should only be applied to the root area for the first half of the time, then distributed to the remaining sections. For simple toning, leave the product on for 20 minutes without using additional heat.

Mix Matrix Color Sync paint and the cream activator in equal proportions. For the initial application, apply the mixture to the roots and then distribute it evenly throughout the entire length of the hair. For a touch-up application, apply the color to the roots for the first half of the processing time, then distribute it to the rest of the hair. For simple toning, leave the product on for 20 minutes without using additional heat.
The hair was bleached to the base. Prior to this, it was also dyed with Matrix Color Sync.
The Berry Violet dye and Clear were mixed in a 1:1 ratio. A little bit of Color Sync Quartz Pink dye was added to the mixture (it's actually not pink, but some kind of orange). The roots were made darker using 5VV (a couple of milliliters).
At first, the hair was a rich beet color, not a very pleasant or flattering shade. The dye fades very quickly. After 2-3 washes, the shade becomes lighter and more pleasant. After a month, the hair is barely violet, but still a beautiful shade. It faded evenly because the hair was properly bleached to the base and not over-dried.
The biggest downside is that it fades quickly.
The paint is amazing! The hair quality is top-notch. I bought Quartz pink. I lightened the roots with the dye and then toned it. It looks fantastic on a level 9 lightening. The color is warm! Very beautiful peachy-pink! But after it washes out, it becomes a cool rosy pink. I have already ordered it for the second time! The shade is stunning!
The color of the pink quartz is stunning! However, it doesn't match the color on the box and the Matrix catalog at the colorist's. The color is more of a metallic rose gold. It appears more pink in the sunlight and turns into a golden-amber shade under artificial lighting. I used the original activator and pre-lightened my hair. I give it 5 stars because I really like the condition of my hair and the color, but if you're looking for a classic light pink, this isn't it.
The dye only adheres to completely bleached hair. I lightened it with a weak oxidant before coloring, but the dye did not take at all. I chose the violet color.
The paint fully lives up to its name (watercolor - акварель). In just 15 minutes, it gives a delicate shade (on bleached hair, of course). The shade "Violet Berry," with the native activator at 2.7%.
I chose the shade Quartz Pink, and the recommended developer was 2.7, but in my opinion, a stronger one is needed. My base color is lightened, but it has been repeatedly dyed in reddish-orange shades, and it always fades to a yellow-orange, fairly light shade. I did not lighten my hair further before applying this dye. It applied equally to both my natural roots (light brown) and the rest of my hair.
Perhaps the base was too yellow for this dye because the result turned out to be something like rose gold, a reddish-pink shade. The shade is beautiful, but I was expecting a lighter and more pink color. Let's see how it fades. Photo taken in daylight without direct sunlight.
