The powder performs its functions 100%. It provides good coverage while still looking natural. The color is not noticeable, so it should suit most people. It doesn't fully cover all imperfections, but it evens out the skin tone nicely without emphasizing dryness. It picks up well on my brush. The only thing is that the powder I received was manufactured 4 years ago (bought at a "discounted" price), but there are no apparent flaws in the product quality. Just keep that in mind.
And I have the same problem - it doesn't pick up on any brush, and even swatching with my finger is quite difficult. In order to use it, you need to scrape off the top layer of powder, then it picks up better on the brush, until the top layer "glosses over" again and stops releasing product. The powder itself seems really good, I don't know why it's like this, the expiration dates are fine :(
I would like to join the positive reviews, but I also have the same issue - the powder does not stick to any of the brushes I have, and I have six of them with different shapes and densities. It also doesn't stick to the sponge - it only polishes the surface of the powder, making it even more impossible to use. When I read reviews about the same situation, I thought maybe people only had one brush and it was unsuccessful. But no, it's the powder's fault. This is the first time I've encountered such a situation with a powder that has such a high price. It's just a waste of money.
For the first time, I felt a truly mattifying powder on my face. I have bought different brands before, but they only "worked" for 2-3 hours maximum. I chose this brand based on reviews and curiosity because I didn't believe in the miracle of mattifying for the whole day. However, this powder is superb, my nose and forehead don't shine until the evening. Now it is the only and unique one in my life. I liked the powder, I've wanted to order it for a long time. It's not visible on the face, but it mattifies my oily skin for quite a long time. The design by theBalm is absolutely lovely. It doesn't have a scent, which is a plus for me. Yes, it's not very easy to pick up, it doesn't create dust, but it's also economical in terms of usage.
The natural brush does not pick up product well. You need either a stiff synthetic brush or a sponge. It is densely packed and therefore does not pick up product easily. It's a shame because I specifically bought a new brush for powder. But I end up using my old one or a sponge. And with the new brush, I end up picking up old powder from Maybelline. It's not convenient. I won't buy this powder again, I'll go back to Maybelline. Although the design and mirror are nice!
The powder is strange. At first, it only lasted for 30 minutes. My skin started to shine like never before. And there was an unpleasant feeling of a mask on my face after applying it.

I have tried a lot of rubbish powders. I have combination skin, prone to oiliness, and it is also porous. This powder is the best out of all the ones I have tried, now I will only buy this one. It mattifies, without showing any flakiness (after being in the cold), the skin looks great. It can be applied with a thin layer using a synthetic powder brush or a sponge. The only small drawback is that you need to buy a sponge, as it does not come with the powder if you carry it in your makeup bag.

Great powder!
1. It is weightless and does not create a mask-like effect on the face. It mattifies excellently, not overly but just enough.
2. It does not dust! I don't know how one would need to apply this powder to make it dust, but I use a brush made of natural bristle (goat hair) and the powder does not dust.
3. It does not contain talc, and that is definitely a reason to be happy!
I highly recommend this powder to all women with oily and problematic skin because it does not clog pores, sets the foundation on the face perfectly, and behaves excellently throughout the day.
The only downside is that it does not come with a puff. However, I only use the powder during makeup application (during the day, I use mattifying tissues to control oiliness), so it is not a downside for me at all.

I have been searching for a lightweight powder for summer without talc, and I decided on this one. I have not regretted it at all! It is a finishing powder, meaning it doesn't provide coverage for any skin problems, but it is perfect for light mattifying after using a base or sunscreen. It is completely transparent, lightweight, and you don't even feel it on your skin, but it really does a good job at mattifying for a long time. At first, I wanted to lower the rating because of the packaging (it's very flimsy cardboard), but I have grown to love this powder so much that I can only give it a 5+ rating!!!
