Revlon ColorStay for Combination/Oily Skin SPF 15 Foundation

Liked it. Did not expect such quality for such a small price. Was a fan of Maybelline, but liked this foundation more.

I always ordered it from abroad. The best foundation in the world. It is not sticky, does not clog pores, does not cause acne, and looks good throughout the work day. 150 is the best neutral shade without any yellow or pink undertones.

I was recommended this foundation by a makeup artist, and honestly, I am satisfied with it, especially considering the price. The color also suits me well. For me, it has been a problem for 26 years to find a good foundation, but this budget option is a great find.

I took shade 110, it has a pink undertone, which is very noticeable on my skin. I will look for a more suitable shade for myself. But the foundation itself is liked in terms of consistency and staying power. The swatch doesn't accurately convey the exact color due to lighting, but shade 110 ivory without a yellow undertone would be suitable for fair-skinned girls.

This is just love. Quality-price, coverage-staying power, easy to apply. For combination skin prone to breakouts - this is simply a find.

Dense, lays well, provides good coverage, and performs excellently throughout the day. It's a perfect find for my oily skin. It's not easy to guess the shade. I got shade 340, it will only suit me when my skin is tan. I will definitely get another shade. The foundation is excellent! Adding photos in natural light, with flash, without flash.

I have shade 390. It's suitable for slightly tanned skin. However, overall, it adjusts slightly so it will also suit a medium skin tone (neither dark nor fair).

The finish is medium to full coverage. But don't expect it to completely cover everything. It mattifies and conceals, but at the same time leaves a slight "naturalness" to the skin.

It has a higher consumption compared to, for example, Catrice HD Liquid Coverage (040).

It applies nicely.

But minus 2 stars for the fact that the matte effect doesn't last long. It's advertised as matte, but after an hour, the skin starts to shine. I wouldn't say I have oily skin, it's moderately oily. But it doesn't manage to control sebum and maintain matte finish. It is what it is.

But overall, the packaging, consistency, and application are all good.

For those who are willing to touch up, powder, etc. throughout the day or those who only need it for a short time, it's a decent purchase.

I don't even know which one it is already in the count, there were Maybelline, L'Oreal, and Bourjois... but they are all not the same! I like it.

I decided to treat myself for the new year. Everything I used was bought at Makeup:
1. LN Professional Ideal Skin Primer;
2. LN Professional Easy Liner Eye Pencil;
3. Revlon ColorStay Foundation For Combination Color 220 natural beige;
4. NYX Professional Makeup Slim Lip Pencil Color 810 natural;
5. Makeup Revolution Blush Palette Palette of 8 blushes sugar and spice.

The foundation was pleasing. And the color seems normal. It does not roll off, does not get greasy. I chose it by the reviews of the girls.

At first, I gave this cream 5 stars for its long-lasting effect and light shade, but after some time of using it, my pores got clogged and acne appeared, so I had to switch to light BB creams and a heavy concealer. Girls with problematic skin should think twice before purchasing it.

I am very light, almost sickly light, and the brightest shade suits me, but with light coverage. However, this is compensated by the fact that it doesn't accentuate any flakiness, it applies very well everywhere + has SPF, which is sufficient for my location.

I have been using it for a long time, but I have to give up this brand... Maybe the formula has changed, but I started getting rashes on my skin from application, which only stopped when I switched to another manufacturer.

Excellent foundation, I buy it multiple times! It doesn't dry out the skin, doesn't cause peeling, it mattifies and provides good coverage, with a moderate density. I buy shade 220, and it matches perfectly.

My favorite cream, I have been using it for about 3 years. It dries out the skin a little, so it's better to apply it on moisturized face. Excellent lasting power. It doesn't smear off with water.

Very good cream. I have oily skin, and the cream keeps it matte all day. It doesn't emphasize pores. The shade "Natural Beige 220" is neither too dark nor too light - suitable for many people.

Excellent foundation. Shade 220. It doesn't turn pink or orange. I am neither fair-skinned nor dark-skinned, so I always go for a beige shade. I have mature skin, and this foundation suits me perfectly. The consistency is quite liquid, but it applies smoothly and gently without drying out. I can't say much about coverage as I don't have any major skin imperfections. My face feels velvety and the tone is even.

For me, this is the best foundation. It covers pigmentation spots, dark circles under the eyes, and does not settle into wrinkles like Clarins. I have combination skin and other foundations make my skin shiny within 2 hours. With Revlon, I didn't even need to use a mattifying tissue after working out. It is on par with Estee Lauder, but the latter gives a photoshopped effect, while Revlon gives a more natural look to the skin. The most important thing is to choose the right shade. I use 150 for the winter period. At first, it looks very light when applied, but then it adapts to the skin color. The texture is liquid and it applies perfectly, without clumps or streaks, as many people claim.

I have combination skin that gets oily by the evening and often has flakiness. I don't understand girls who say that this product emphasizes flakiness. Any foundation or powder won't hide it. Before using it, take care of your skin, get a good scrub and moisturizer. Definitely apply a primer. I don't know about 24 hours, but it lasted perfectly for 12 hours for me, even under a mask. It didn't clog my pores, but that's probably because of the primer. The color is just great, it covered all imperfections and didn't feel heavy, even though it is thick. It is very similar to Estée Lauder and Catrice. Overall, I will definitely continue using it, I haven't seen anything better for this price. In my opinion, the price is very low for this product. I would rate it a solid 7 out of 10.

I bought a foundation for the summer, 200 tone. It applies nicely, covers well, and doesn't accentuate dry patches. I decided to order a tone 110 for the winter and I was disappointed. It applies in patches, highlights dryness, and looks really bad on the face.

What a magnificent foundation!!! It's love! I used to use Catrice, but that nonsense disappeared from the Ukrainian market. I was extremely disappointed because finding the right one is very difficult, and then by chance, I came across this miracle... I apply it on a base with a damp sponge. It's been half a day already, but it feels like I just applied my makeup. I have combination skin with some flakiness. It doesn't accentuate anything with the base and doesn't clog pores. In a word - a new love!!!

The foundation matched perfectly! However, it is only suitable for combination and oily skin and it is necessary to apply a primer or a moisturizer before applying the foundation. The coverage and density are moderate, suitable for everyday use. It lasts well throughout the day, does not smear or oxidize. I recommend it, especially for those with oily skin!

I understand that the packaging may have changed from the manufacturer, but the shade and consistency... Before it was thick and dense, today I bought a new one, it's liquid, translucent, it spreads with some kind of liquid, and the shade is not olive toned, but a warm beige with a yellow hue...

In tandem with the "Catrice All Matt Plus Shine Control Powder", this is my forever love. This duo handled 35-degree heat with dignity. I still don't know which of the two products mattifies well, but now I can confidently leave the house without blotting papers.

I used to use a different foundation, but it hasn't been available for a long time. I decided to try this one based on the reviews on the website. The foundation is terrible! It takes effort to apply it evenly, only a damp sponge works, a brush doesn't do the job. Within 10-30 minutes, the foundation starts to come off my nose, leaving patches and holes on my face. I am not new to using cosmetics, and I have tried various skincare routines before applying foundation, but it still looks awful. If I apply it on top of a moisturizer, which is quite greasy, the coverage is slightly better, but not for long.

Took shade 150. And to say that I'm satisfied is an understatement. The only foundation that matched perfectly, long-lasting, great shade, everything is superb. I have fair skin, so I always had to mix different foundations to find the right color, but here everything is ready. Will definitely buy more.

Shade 310 is suitable for fair sun-kissed skin. I recommend mixing two different shades during the period between winter paleness and summer tan.

It was fantastic. Coverage, longevity, matte finish, everything is a 5+ for my super oily problematic skin, even though the shade was slightly darker than needed (110 Ivory, even though I'm not extremely fair, it didn't match perfectly, I would prefer something lighter. I brightened certain areas of my face with a white concealer).

With the redesign, it turned into a nightmare: 5-10 minutes after application, it oxidizes horribly, almost to an orange color, like the cheapest foundations from the 2000s. At first, I blamed it on the powder, but it oxidizes the same way without it, and I haven't changed anything else.
I'm just desperate. Where am I supposed to find the same foundation now, and in a suitable shade? I tried a similar one from Ingrid, but the lightest shade looks muddy yellow-green on me. Most drugstore options are too red/dark, so I have to use Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop in the shade 01.3 Light Porcelain, even though it applies poorly and lasts the same, it also dries out my skin, but it's the only one that matches in terms of shade. I'm tired of experimenting, so much money wasted. Maybe someone can suggest something light enough, with good coverage and mattifying properties?

I ordered this foundation based on good reviews. But I don't understand what the problem is with the quality: whether it's the batch, or if it's really like they wrote in the comments below, from the manufacturer country (R.S.A.). It looks like a cheap drugstore foundation on my face. But the delivery of makeup is always the best.

I constantly buy this cream. It's a savior for my problematic and oily skin. It's not completely matte when applied, so I use powder on my T-zone. It lasts throughout the day, and I can touch up with mattifying wipes in problem areas.

My skin is problematic, combination. I ordered shade 150 (15spf) and the foundation was really nice, it lasted the whole day and covered up my imperfections. However, I was wrong about the shade. I ordered 180 (15spf) and when I opened it I realized the consistency is different and the design was also different (with the 24-hour label and dark cover). The customer service said that the manufacturer can change the composition as well (as there are many reviews about different creams arriving). Anyway, the cream was not bad (but not as good as the first one). I noticed that the first one said "Made in U.S.A." while the second one said "R.S.A" (South African Republic). That's why there was a difference in the cream. But makeup is written as "U.S.A" (the country of brand registration).

Great foundation, I have oily skin with enlarged pores on the T-zone, it mattifies well, applies nicely, doesn't clog pores. I've been using it for a month and haven't had any breakouts. I moisturize my skin before applying it and use a primer. Shade 180 is a good match for those with fair skin and no pink undertones. The only downside is that it only lasts for 5-6 hours before starting to slide off my nose. I use mattifying tissues and powder to help with that. I've tried expensive foundations (not here) but they didn't work for my skin. This is the best foundation for me, thank you.

Horrible, simply horrible. I have been using this foundation for 3 years and have never experienced anything like this before... The consistency is watery and it doesn't provide even coverage. I ordered shades 200 and 300 and I am just bewildered. Previously, I used this foundation and it had a moderate thickness, applied evenly, and covered minor imperfections perfectly. What I received now... I have no words, and the comment "The manufacturer has changed the formula at their discretion" is not a valid argument in this case. I doubt the authenticity of the product, and if this is the "new formula," then the changes are definitely not for the better. Money wasted((

I tried it out and I don't understand the enthusiastic reviews. It emphasizes the smallest peeling, heavily highlights pores, and leaves patches on the skin. I do not recommend it.

For oily or combo skin, a decent foundation cream. It slightly dries out the skin. It does a decent job of evening out the skin tone.

I like this foundation, out of so many others - it mattifies my oily skin for the longest. There's a shade 150, which is a bit too light for me, so I decided to get 220, darker one, but it's a bit of a challenge for me, so I'm mixing them in the end)

The foundation is a bomb. I've bought it for the third time. I highly recommend it.

The tone covers imperfections well, it's matte and long-lasting. However, it can emphasize the texture on dry skin. The ivory shade is excellent for pale skin (it's often difficult to find such a light tone).

It used to be the best foundation, I used it for several years without taking breaks to try other products. Now it only lasts a maximum of 2 hours and just disappears, making me look tired. It applies well with a brush, but not so well with a sponge. Shade 150 is perfect for fair-skinned people. I got shade 180 for the summer.

However, a major downside for me is that the foundation clogs pores and eventually caused breakouts. The breakouts significantly decreased once I switched to another cream. Maybe this is just my personal reaction. Overall, it is not a bad cream for oily-prone skin.
