The soap is indeed very solid, but it lathers incredibly well, creating a creamy foam. It does not dissolve at all and has a very gentle and pleasant scent.
I did not buy it here. It cleans my hands well. The soap lathers nicely, has no smell, doesn't dry out the skin, and doesn't cause allergies. The only thing is that when you wash your hands, it feels like you have pebbles in your hands. It is very solid and lasts a long time. I also have the same brand's baby powder (flakes), and I am thrilled with it.
