These women's perfumes can be a pleasant surprise gift for many connoisseurs of classic women's fragrances and can revive warm memories of the past with their scent.
The Rochas Eau De Rochas bottle is shaped like a piece of mountain crystal, the intricate pattern of which is supposed to evoke associations with the speed of a mountain stream. The fragrance composition combines fruity notes, floral scents, and exotic spicy fragrances. In the base noteAmber and musk are present, stirring waves of passion in the soul of the wearer of Rochas Eau De Rochas perfume, which are held back by the persistent note of oak moss and sandalwood. Rochas Eau De Rochas - for true connoisseurs of French fragrances for women.

Disappointed. Not long-lasting, not trailblazing. It barely lasted for 2 weeks. Tried it again. Just a sweet scent of plum, plum compote. The longevity is not more than an hour on the body, even less on the hair. Not at all like they used to be, unfortunately.
I was happy to receive Madame Rochas as a gift from my sister and niece, who ordered it for me on Makeup. I was familiar with this scent in its perfume concentration, which my mother had, and despite all the recent reformulations, it remains recognizable and just as enchanting in its eau de toilette concentration, although it doesn't last as long. The aldehydes are beautifully played, and the entire floral composition sounds just as beautiful, leaving a light trail. It seems to me that modern perfumers have overall treated the reformulation of this wonderful creation by one of the best "noses" of France, Guy Robert, with care. He created this fragrance at the request and with the participation of Ellen Rochas in 1960 (not in 1970, as stated in the description!), shortly after she had to take over the Rochas fashion house after her husband Marcel Rochas, a wonderful fashion designer, passed away. Marcel Rochas, at the time, paid attention to accessories for his clothing designs, particularly fragrances, and he brought in the best perfumers for this work. For example, to create the legendary perfume Femme, which he gave to Ellen as a wedding gift, he invited the great perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. By the way, respected Makeup team, the creation date of Madame Rochas is not the only mistake, you have promised to correct it for a long time but have not done so yet.
They are well powdered over time. Despite its aldehydic nature, it does not smell like soap.
Prickly, yet very familiar. Orange hue, moss, sandalwood, and flowers - it sounds beautiful, holds up well. Very beautiful packaging and bottle, raised cap.
I have wanted to buy and compare this product for a long time, with that magical scent that I had in the 80s. It was truly a masterpiece, but I didn't like the modern version at all. I sprayed it and the smell was overpowering and harsh. After a couple of hours, the scent became somewhat tolerable. By the end of the day, I could barely smell the powdery notes. The longevity is decent, but average. In short, it is a somewhat unusual fragrance. It's necessary to test it before purchasing. It's unlikely to be suitable for young girls.
I used this fragrance in the 90s, as if I peeked through a keyhole into the past... Yes, tastes change over time...
In my opinion, using such a fragrance should be done very carefully and just a tiny bit, it would have been better if it was a bottle without a sprayer.
Overall, my associations are calmness, warmth, coziness, a little bit of nostalgia... I don't know why. But I didn't think like this before.
That's my subjective opinion.
I gave it to my mom for her birthday! She is thrilled :) This scent is reminiscent of her youth and even my childhood :) But I'm afraid it simply won't suit young girls :)
This is just a marvelous, delicate, trail-like, crystal-fresh scent. I adore fragrances with a subtle bitterness. You need to mature and try many things before you can appreciate it, that's when it can please a capricious nose.
I bought this for myself in England. I ordered it here for my friend. I didn't find any differences. It has a retro scent, suitable for mature and elegant women. My friend is thrilled, although of course the fragrance is quite different from the vintage one.
Yes. The initial notes disappear very quickly. It remains powdery. Not very long-lasting, but normal for its price. Still, it's a nostalgic fragrance.
Agreed, the scent dissipates and leaves a powdery trail. Not very long-lasting.
