I used it, and I used to wash my face without it. It is what it is for my dense skin, whether it's there or not. It still acts as a calming mask after peeling. There were no burns or unpleasant sensations. I won't buy it again next time.
Maybe it instantly neutralizes acidity, but it doesn't soften or soothe the skin at all. After a 40% peel from the same series, it's better to use a pharmacy panthenol spray to calm it down.
