Molinard Habanita Eau de Parfum has a unique history. It was first used to flavour elite Havana cigars, and only later, the fragrance gained popularity among women as a complement to their image. Its oriental composition won the hearts of many, embodying luxury, mystery, and irresistible appeal.
The olfactory pyramid of Molinard Habanita Eau de Parfum:
Top notes open the composition with delicate geranium, resinous mastic tree, and sparkling petitgrain nuances.
Heart notes create a gorgeous bouquet of floral shades, complemented by woody cedar and earthy nutmeg undertones.
Base notes are woven from marine ambergris, grassy oak moss, refreshing musk, and smoky patchouli framed by warm sandal, and sensual vanilla motifs.
The most accurate and only description was left by Iya and I fully agree with her comment regarding the scent. From myself, I would only add that Habanita is indeed a very beautiful fragrance, deep, interesting, with a perfectly constructed pyramid and a unique combination of notes. But for me, it is absolutely unbearable "story", the vintage feel in the scent is overwhelming - it's like wearing a museum dress from the era of Louis and going to the office to work. Unfortunately, that's how it is - well, the fragrance is beautiful, but morally outdated a long time ago. Very heavy to wear, adds years, centuries, "cobwebs", "century-old dust" and "antiquity" to the whole image. I got a miniature for my collection. But that's it. By the way, the large bottle is incredibly beautiful, that's true.
HABANITA can be characterized by the phrase "Ramamba-Hara-Mamburu" in a concise manner. The new flanker differs slightly from the original fragrance of the 1920s. However, the composition has not been distorted, on the contrary, it has been refined and surprisingly added vintage charm.
This balsamic perfume has a bright tone of mastic wood, which gives a touch of mystique to a night cemetery, plus the sweetness of styrax, the flirtatiousness of orange blossom, and a hint of bay leaf oil further confirm the balsamic composition.
Ylang-ylang and oakmoss beautifully play in the trail, giving HABANITA an elegant powdery quality, while the persistent heliotrope surrounded by musky iris root and the bitterness of Egyptian jasmine with woody-mossy undertones add depth to the scent.
The sweet bitterness takes on a solo role in the composition.
Delicious, sweet oriental. Not vulgar, not gourmet. For me, it is the epitome of sweet oriental. I bought it without testing, and I am delighted. Thank you, Makeup, for the opportunity to buy such masterpieces at affordable prices.
And, of course, 5 stars for the composition of the fragrance and the work of the store.
