I have tried many different products and settled on this one, it's simply amazing! The price is definitely high, BUT it's worth it! The skin feels velvety and well-groomed, there is no mask effect. It is very economical to use! There is no dispenser, of course, it would be more convenient. I bought it in the summer, it doesn't run or shine on the face in the heat! Solid 5!
La Prairie is a miracle foundation that also combines concealer. Speaking of the concealer - I have problem areas (I am 35 years old) under my eyes after some unsuccessful procedures. I am currently dealing with it, but I really needed a good concealer to cover the problem area under my eyes. I have tried many brands, I won't list them, but I will say that La Prairie stays on like glue. It is thick like a mask and provides full coverage. It doesn't settle into wrinkles and doesn't dry out throughout the day. My skin is dry and I am very satisfied with it.
Now about the color, I didn't know until I tested it beforehand, but the concealer is about two shades lighter than the foundation, which is very pleasing.
Now about the foundation: The downside is that it doesn't have a dispenser, so I have to constantly unscrew the bottle, which is very inconvenient. But I am willing to forgive it for its wonderful texture. The coverage is medium and it also covers my pigmentation. It can be layered, doesn't dry out, and doesn't slide off. It lasts for about seven hours during the day, if I don't touch my face. I touch up my makeup with the same brand's powder. The combination of powder and foundation is the best luxury option for me. After applying, the foundation adjusts to the skin and is not visible on the face. It gives a radiant glow, as if the skin is glowing from within, but there are no light-reflecting particles. The composition itself is like that.
Concealer - a miracle. The best product I have ever had, and I have tried: Dior, Clinique, Shiseido, Helena Rubinstein, Yves Saint Laurent. It doesn't feel heavy like a mask, doesn't run throughout the day, doesn't settle into wrinkles, and conceals dark circles excellently. It moisturizes perfectly. The best product for under-eye circles!
However, the foundation has some drawbacks. First, it only comes in a 40ml size. Second, and most importantly, the applicator is not convenient. You have to scoop it out with the applicator, then apply it to your face. Sometimes you take too much, sometimes too little, and it's annoying to have to go back into the jar. It's really frustrating.
One undeniable advantage is that the color of the face, noticed by others, is fresh and even. It doesn't run or settle, and it stays well on dry and oily T-zone skin.
The brush is synthetic, but I haven't tried using it. It seems useless to me.
I can't say anything about the claimed caviar care - there haven't been any positive changes. Overall, the quality of the foundation is similar to Lancome Teint Miracle, very similar.
So, I would recommend buying the concealer for under-eye circles (for those who are on a budget), but think twice about the foundation. If it doesn't strain you financially, go ahead and buy it. Rating: 5, with a slight drawback.
