Problematic skin requires a special skincare routine. Moreover, it is necessary to use not aggressive products, thanks to which the skin will be provided with long-lasting hydration, and the work of the sebaceous glands will normalize. The sunscreen gel of the famous French brand La Roche-Posay has a wide spectrum of action: it normalizes hydrobalance, regulates sebum secretion and makes a tan not only beautiful, but also safe. Thanks to sunscreens, the skin will be under reliable protection from the negative effects of ultraviolet radiation.
Its gel-like consistency spreads easily without leaving a greasy residue or clogging pores. The balanced formula is a guarantee of a gentle effect. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+) SPF 30 cleanses the mouths of pores, removes blackheads, evens out the texture of the skin, and prevents the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Thermal water in the product soothes and softens the skin. As a result of regular use of the cream, the work of the sebaceous glands is normalized and oily sheen disappears, signs of post-acne decrease.
Benefits of La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+) SPF30:
- has a non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic formula that contains SPF30;
- has a XL-PROTECT formula that protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays and environmental negative factors;

I bought it at the pharmacy, but I want to leave a review. I have used a cream like this before, but without SPF, and it worked well for me. However, this cream with SPF feels completely different on my skin - it's like having a greasy film on my face (the last time I used it, I just washed it off with a foaming cleanser because it was so uncomfortable). I won't be using it anymore and will throw the cream away. I'm very disappointed. Additionally, the scent is the same as other products in this line with SPF, and I don't like it.
For the summer, exactly what is needed for problematic skin. The La Roche-Posay Effaclar series is perfect for me, I use it in combination with the gel, micellar water, and tonic.
I bought the wrong one, but I still want to leave a review.
It's really cool, the scent is neutral. I have combination skin, but it's also mature with breakouts. It mattifies the skin nicely. Throughout the day after using the cream, there is less greasy shine. At the same time, the skin feels moisturized and pleasant to the touch. I recommend it to those who can't find a cream for oily skin. Especially in hot weather - it's perfect.
Wonderful. The smell is very pleasant, like lilac.
Applied it precisely, the areas of application swelled up, my face started itching, and it appeared as if I had burns on the areas where I applied it. Tried the cream again after a week, and the same reaction occurred.
Very unfortunate, but I had an allergic reaction to it - my whole face swelled up and my eyes started watering.
It smudges when applied to the face, flakes off, and leaves residue on clothes and hair. After a short period of time, it starts to irritate the skin on the face. Not satisfied with the purchase.
I have combination and sensitive skin prone to breakouts, with oily shine on my chin and forehead, but at the same time, I feel dryness on my cheeks and around my nose. I was treated for breakouts and the dermatologist advised me to buy a cream with SPF. So I tried this one. After using the usual Effaclar Duo, this cream felt unusual and seemed "heavy" to me. But after a few weeks, I got used to it and now I'm just thrilled. When I tried the regular version of Effaclar Duo again, it didn't work for me anymore, as if it lacked moisturization. I consider this cream to be excellent for both summer and winter!
I tried it for the first time and was left with positive impressions. I liked its lightweight texture, it doesn't cause any discomfort on the skin.
I didn't notice any effect, the version without sun protection is much better and doesn't feel on the skin when this product is applied as a film and sometimes it peels off, even if you apply a small amount. It doesn't help like the previous cream without SPF, I don't even feel like using this product.
It rolls on the face; it's the first time I've experienced this with creams... Disappointed, I won't buy it again.
"Very cool."
I bought this product on the recommendation of a dermatologist as I have problematic skin. The sensation from the cream is not very pleasant. I don't feel any moisturizing effect at all. On the contrary, it feels like rubbing something dry on dry skin, which doesn't absorb well. The skin becomes tight, burns for a while, and then itchy throughout the day. I didn't notice any improvement in acne. It slightly reduces redness. I used it for a few days and then put it aside.
The search for a sunscreen cream for oily skin is quite a quest. I bought this one as an addition to the Effaclar line. The cream is thicker than the Effaclar Duo without SPF. It is white in color. It gives a shine and greasiness to the face. It slightly rolls off when applying foundation. But I guess I'm willing to endure these inconveniences as long as it doesn't cause breakouts.
This SPF didn't work, it smudges even when applied alone, let alone with foundation on top, it's just awful (plus, it burns in dry areas of the face).
The worst sunscreen I have ever had, compared to it Nivea SPF for 200 UAH is better, it whitens the skin, and after a few minutes it slides off.
The cream has a very pleasant texture and spreads nicely on the face, absorbing in a couple of minutes. The only downside is that it is impossible to apply foundation or even concealer on top of this cream, as they will slide off. I have combination sensitive skin prone to acne; there hasn't been a decrease or increase in breakouts or inflammation, and there have been no allergic reactions. Overall, it is a decent cream.
I don't know what to say yet, it seems not bad, but it rolls off terribly. I can't figure out how to fix it, or maybe it's impossible to fix it, there are no other downsides.
If you can, please tell me how much product should be used, like all sunscreens with two fingers or can a smaller amount be used? This is a very important question!
Because the tube is too small for the price, and if you use two fingers' worth, it's not economical at all.
I have been buying this cream for a while now. It was recommended to me by a dermatologist. I initially used the effaclar cream without SPF, but it didn't work for me during the autumn-winter period. My face became too dry, even with my super oily skin. So, I decided to buy the cream from the same series, but with SPF, and I really liked it! During the summer, my pores don't get clogged like they do with other creams, and my face stays matte for a long time. In winter, I don't feel any dryness. So, it's definitely a top product! P.S. During the summer, I use a face cleanser from the same series, but during winter, I use a different one that is gentler to avoid drying out my skin.
The cream for me turned out to be a lifesaver because I was already convinced that I wouldn't be able to find something pleasant for my face for the summer with sun protection that wouldn't clog my pores. This cream is an alternative to the same one without SPF, so if you find the regular Effaclar suitable, then most likely this one will also suit you. On top of it, I apply the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint powder, and occasionally use blotting papers on my T-zone if needed, and my face looks natural and presentable.
My favorite skincare product! It truly corrects imperfections, has perfect sun protection, and does not bleach the skin! I adore the entire Effaclar line ❤️
My favorite product, I have been using it for a year and a half, my skin is unrecognizable, it has improved so much. Thank you.
Wonderful cream, moisturizes well, removes pimples, tightens the skin nicely. It's perfect for problematic skin! Special thanks for the delivery on Make up, it's always excellent!)
Good cream, I am satisfied. Removes post-acne spots, tightens the skin, moisturizes well. Already buying for the 3rd time. The only thing is that it somehow caused a rash on the chin (I don't know if it's because of this cream), I stopped applying it to that area and the rash went away. If there is any local inflammation, it all goes away overnight with this cream. Overall, I recommend it.
I don't know how to evaluate...I bought it and then read on the box that it is a cream that is advertised as a care plus protection from the sun. So I bought it when the sun became active. But on the box itself it is indicated that the agent is not a full-fledged means of protection from the sun. And during the stay in the sun should use another means of protection. So why did I need this duo plus with protection? Do I need to apply an additional ointment?
Therefore, I will not buy it anymore...and cannot recommend it to others. It is better to buy a full-fledged cream or sunscreen for problem, oily or sensitive skin. In addition, sunscreens or emulsions can often be applied to the area around the eyes. And this duo plus with protection from the sun can not. That is, I still have to buy protection around the eyes.
And I bought duo plus with protection from the sun. And for it you still need to buy another means of protection from the sun...which can be used for the area around the eyes. Or buy another third protection - for the eyes)))))
So, wasted money. I should have just bought duo plus without sun protection. I still have to buy a full-fledged protection. I can imagine this cake: duo plus with protection 30 and on top or below - one sunscreen...
Today I was in the sun for three hours with duo plus with sun protection. In Kyiv, not on the equator. I got a bunch of spring allergies on my skin. So I can say that duo plus with sun protection has not very high protection.
I had used La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo and it worked great for my combination skin. I decided to add SPF for the spring but it didn't work out for me. I read the recommendations that it should be applied to damp skin, but it still felt very heavy and it would just roll off my skin. The cream is thicker than the Duo without SPF. I'll have to wait and see if it provides enough protection from the sun.
Excellent product, optimally selected SPF30 protection factor, this is the most optimal option for Ukraine. Perhaps someone may think that it will be greasy, but I can say that this greasiness quickly disappears after application, so this effect is temporary. It supports the skin prone to breakouts well.
My favorite product, it is 100% suitable for my dry problematic skin. That's why I have been using it for several years. Everyone is different, but I recommend it to girls with problematic skin.
This cream is exactly the same as the one without SPF, just with SPF. It gives me a normal matte effect, provides hydration, is not heavy, and doesn't feel like a film or dry. I bought it because I quickly develop pigmentation due to acids. I was afraid to buy this cream because there were quite a lot of negative reviews. I hope my positive review will help someone else avoid pigmentation. I have combination skin, but if the cream is even slightly heavy, my skin doesn't accept it and immediately becomes sticky, with redness and enlarged pores. Finding something suitable is quite a challenge. My favorite cream used to be Avene Light Moisturizing SPF 20, but it was discontinued and I have been searching for a replacement ever since, as Avene SPF 30 felt a bit heavy for me. Effaclar SPF 30 seems to be good. I am still testing it. Now I have all three types of Effaclar - regular, with foundation, and with SPF. So far, I like them all. La Roche powder is also excellent, I have been using it for many years. I bought shade 11 for winter and shade 13 is good for summer. As always, everyone's experience may vary.
I did not see any positive changes when using this product.
I have combination skin (oily T-zone).
It leaves a greasy shine (even with minimal product usage).
It does not work on imperfections.
I will not repurchase.
The cream does not apply well, it rolls off the face.
Never apply it under foundation! It starts to roll off after a few hours and gives a very peeling sensation/appearance to the skin!
Great cream, in combination with the gel and toner gives excellent results. The skin looks significantly better. I use it under makeup.
I used to use Effaclar Duo before. Everything was great. Now I started using this one and something is very wrong. It rolls off a lot. Especially on the chin. It leaves a continuous white residue. It is impossible to apply makeup on top of it. After applying it, you can't touch your face at all because it will immediately start to crumble. I tried using more and less of it - nothing changed. I don't apply anything underneath it. It's sad.
I have ordered for the second time already. I am satisfied with the entire series for oily and combination skin. The results are noticeable in just 2 weeks.
This product is great for getting rid of acne marks. Even after the first use, there are noticeable results. I am definitely satisfied ☺️
I liked it!
Excellent product! I recommend it.
Very satisfied! I was worried after reading reviews that the face would shine too much after application, but the cream looks great on the skin. No greasiness, rolling, or peeling. The scent is stronger than the regular duo, it reminds me more of La Roche-Posay's SPF products. Immediately brings pleasant associations with the sea :)
I bought it at the pharmacy.
Since I am currently using the Effaclar serum, I decided to try the duo+ with SPF for sun protection. Unlike the regular duo, this one has a creamy texture, not a gel. My face looks shiny and unattractive, so I deduct 1 star for that. I suppose I could use Effaclar Mat to counteract the shine, but then the SPF, which is supposed to be applied last, won't have the desired effect. I can't say I'm completely satisfied, as my face looks greasy after using it.
