Smell for connoisseurs - that's putting it mildly! It smells horribly like something resembling vinegar(((
But it does its job excellently. I use it after the beach - it moisturizes perfectly. There was a slight redness (more like pinkness) - I applied it twice and it all went away. So, despite the awful smell, I still recommend buying it.
Good gel, with excellent composition. The only thing is the scent, which is a matter of personal preference.
Summary: gel with a safe natural composition; effectively treats skin damage, dries and moisturizes well.
More details:
1) Unlike many competitors in this price range, I was very pleased to see that the composition consists of only 5-6 ingredients and is truly natural.
2) Yes, the gel dries and forms a film on the face, tightening the skin. However, with PROPER use, it will not cause dryness or tightness. Let the gel dry on the face and then rinse with warm water. There's no need to rub the gel "until it turns blue." This can achieve the maximum beneficial effect. It can be left on other areas without rinsing.
3) Sunburns heal without peeling or other unpleasant consequences if the skin is immediately smeared with this gel. The effect is similar to Panthenol.
I bought this gel because of its excellent composition. The gel slightly soothes and tones the skin, but it turned out to be insufficiently moisturizing even for my oily skin.
This gel caused either an allergy or a burn. After applying it, my face turned red horribly after 10 minutes. I immediately washed it off and it went away after about an hour. Maybe it just didn't suit me personally, but it's still very strange, as it is supposed to be soothing and hypoallergenic.
