I am a blonde and I bought the warm brunette shade, thinking it would darken my hair. Unfortunately, the shade turned out to be more reddish, although I also looked good with red hair. I used this dye once or twice a month for a year. It faded quickly where I had blonde hair, but it clung horribly to the areas with full hair color from the roots. When I went to the hairdresser after a year and told them I wanted to go back to being blonde, it didn't immediately work out on the first try. The hairdresser did some highlights, but most of the strands were still red, although it looked decent overall. I used only violet shampoos and masks for 6 months after the highlights to wash out the red. And after a year, it worked! Now I am blonde again! Ladies, if you have your natural hair color, I do not recommend using dark shades because the pigment sticks permanently to your natural hair, whereas the blonde washed out quickly because it is empty. Overall, the toner is great and it leaves my hair very soft.
I didn't buy it here, I bought the warm b color, left it on for 30 minutes, my hair is thick but I have a layered haircut, used half of the tube. My hair is natural, not dyed, no gray hair. I won't buy it again, the effect is minimal on me and I think my natural color looks better. The hair feels nice to the touch, the scent is also normal for me, although I am sensitive to smells.
The photos are natural and in two shades. I liked it.
The balm itself is not bad. I bought the red one. The color is quite bright. It doesn't last very long though. But the smell is awful. Chemical and unpleasant. I can still feel it on my hair for several days.
I have short, partially highlighted hair. I bought the dark chestnut shade. I left it on for 1.5-2 hours. It applied easily and the color turned out nice. My hair feels soft and shiny. It fades within a week or two, but I wash my hair almost every day.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll leave a review. I wanted to cover up my faded red color with a cool brunette shade. I kept it on for 35 minutes. Nothing changed at all.
Well, what can I say - you get what you pay for. It dries out dyed hair and fades quite quickly, in just one use. The color, however, matches the advertised one. But that's just for me, maybe someone else likes it. I will try a more expensive branded line and compare.
Referring to after the first wash. Definitely not worth buying. The water and towel turned brown. I got the light chestnut color.
From ash blonde to warm light brown, or my history of experiments. I tried the Copper shade and didn't expect it to be so pigmented. Be prepared to have a true fiery red color, just like in the Scooby-Doo cartoon.
I bought Syoss Copper, copper color, but not here. I applied it to clean, damp hair, first with a brush on the roots, then spread it throughout the length. I left it on for 20 minutes, although it says 20-30 minutes, but I was afraid the color would be too vibrant since I had previously dyed my hair a bright copper. I have a shoulder-length bob haircut, thick hair, and half the tube was used. The instructions state that the product should be rinsed immediately after coloring until the water runs clear, but I rinsed for 20 minutes and the water still had a copper color, so I left it as it was. As for the color on the skin, it also washed off well. What can I say, the color is absolutely gorgeous, copper-golden, I really like it. The hair was evenly colored, without any patches, BUT!!! the roots are not colored at all (I'm a natural brunette), I always lighten them before coloring, and although they were slightly toned, they are still visible. The most critical aspect for me is the smell!!! The smell from the hair immediately after washing is like a stable, and on the second day, it's as if I washed them with rotten eggs, a very unpleasant smell, almost nauseating. The color completely washed out after the fourth hair wash. Overall, I am satisfied with the result, but I won't buy this product again because of the smell, as it is the worst thing for me, so I give it a three-star rating.
I used this balm in the shade cool blonde, as a balm, the effect is gorgeous - the hair is soft, shiny, and easy to comb. It smells like hair dye. As a toning balm, it's not bad, but without a wow effect. In person, it didn't seem like anything had changed, but when I compared the before and after photos, the result was still visible (I kept it on for 6 minutes).
I use the shade "copper" on my non-dyed hair. The effect is amazing, the color is superb! It lasts for 6-7 washes. I highly recommend it!
I used the Cool Blonde shade on dyed and lightened hair (level 9-10), left it for 25 minutes instead of the stated 5 minutes. Absolutely no effect! Such a waste of money! I do not recommend it!!!
Warm brunette on natural light brown hair turns out fiery red. I was hoping it would wash out, but I have already washed my hair 10 times and it is still yellow water and has red roots. It's becoming scary that I have been growing it out for so long and ruined it.
I didn't buy it for makeup.
The balm is terrible, no effect!
But the smell, excuse me, stinks so much that it hurts my eyes. It stayed on my hair and I couldn't get rid of it.
I do not recommend it!
I didn't buy it here, the shade is platinum blonde. It turned out pretty good.
I have long, straight hair that reaches below my shoulder blades, and I dye it copper (red). I toned my hair a week after fully coloring it. The first application was ineffective as I did not apply it to the roots, waited for 30 minutes, and saw no results. The second application was better; I left it on the lengths for 45 minutes, and it toned quite well. The color became vibrant and had a sunlit shimmer, but the effect only lasted until the first hair wash. My hair was soft and loose. This product is decent, but only if you urgently need to tone and give a nice appearance. However, do not expect the same effect as dyeing with hair dye.
Did not like
Smells like paint
Dries hair
Ends became very brittle
I did a test streak on my face and I really wanted to match my roots with one color but the balm on my hair made it come out far from a cool chestnut (some kind of purple with pink). I had a 9/10 lightening level but besides the front streak, I also took from the bottom, it was red and got the same result. Everything is individual, I just didn't get lucky.
No effect at all
I did not buy it here, but I decided to leave a review after reading the comments. I am a bit shocked that you expect a drastic change after using a toning balm. It is not hair dye, so there won't be a significant transformation. It is an excellent product for maintaining color.
I bought the cool chestnut shade, and it made my natural chestnut hair look cool, just as it should.
It does not worsen the condition of the hair; they became smooth, shiny, and well-groomed.
The smell is very strong, but I am allergic and sensitive to smells, so it is very individual.
To understand the toning technology, I recommend reading about it online to know which shade to choose and what result to expect on your hair.
The chestnut color has a copper tint and does not leave any traces on the skin, but the smell... it smelled like hair glue for two weeks.
The copper shade tones into a rich orange without any redness, similar to the color of copper wire. The scent is normal and does not linger on the hair. I dilute it with a third of a conditioning mask and leave it on for five minutes. Without the mask, I assume the product may not be very economical. Overall, the price-quality ratio is good, the color is even and vibrant, and it tones the roots well. It's exactly what I need in between dyeing sessions.
I am completely satisfied with the result!
Excellent balm, gives shine and hair looks groomed, lasted on red hair for around 20 minutes, balm gave a beautiful chocolate hue.
Insanely satisfied. The warm chestnut gives a light reddish tint. It covers gray hair and, really, lasts up to 8 weeks.
I got a chestnut color when I took a warm color.
Very good paint, does not damage hair after use, colors richly and brightly.
Well, if someone had warned me about the smell of this balm, it's some kind of swamp smell. It's better to go to a salon and get a proper dye with quality products.
This is just a find!! After coloring my hair with Loreal ash blonde dye, my hair turned slightly reddish after 4 washes. After using this balm, I achieved an amazing chocolate shade, the ash root was covered, and the gray hair was also nicely colored. I chose the cold chestnut shade. Highly recommend!!!!
Great balm! The color is a cool chestnut. It's debatable if it's cold, but it worked great. The original color is a light chestnut.
The balm effectively covers up grown-out roots with gray hair. I chose the Cold Chestnut shade for brown hair. It matches the color well.
The cool chestnut shade suited perfectly, it doesn't turn yellow. It only gives off a violet hue until the first wash, and then it becomes a very pleasant and nice shade. The color lasts for 6-8 hair washes.
Took a cold chestnut shade. The color is beautiful, it barely gives off a purple hue (until the first wash), but it suits me. Hair becomes soft and shiny after using it. It washes out after about 4 hair washes for those with light brown hair.
Good balm. I got the warm chestnut shade for my uncolored dark brown hair. The color turned out very beautiful and toned down the gray hair.
After using it, my hair shines and becomes more manageable, it washed out after the 6th hair wash.
So far, for me, the best tinted balm. I choose "warm chestnut", leave it on for 20 minutes, the effect lasts as stated. It doesn't leave any residue on the skin and doesn't have a strong smell. I have long hair, about 4-5 in length, and one tube is enough for 2-3 uses! Overall, I recommend it!
I don't know, maybe the shade "Platinum Blonde" will work for natural blondes, but it didn't work on my bleached strands. I lightened the strands near my face, applied the balm for the first time for half an hour - it didn't take. The next day, I left it on for 40 minutes - still didn't take. In the evening, I applied it generously again for an hour and a half - zero effect! It didn't cover anything, didn't give any shade at all, not even a tiny bit...
Enough for 3 hair washes. They say it's enough for 8.
I didn't buy it here.
Pros - faded quickly. Cons:
- Uneven dyeing
- There was some debris in the balm bottle.
- Faded unevenly as well
- Smells awful
Base - perfectly bleached blonde level 10. The platinum series was better.
It lightly tones gray hair, but the manufacturer mentions this.
I got the cool chestnut shade and it matched very well. I used it to cover my grown-out roots. My natural color is dark blonde, which is at the roots. The ends are chestnut, dark. The color evens out nicely. My hair feels soft after using it, and it doesn't stain my pillow or clothes. It washed out with regular shampoo in just 2 times.
I bought the cold chestnut shade, and my hair looks great after using it, but there's a big "but"! The cold chestnut shade is not cold at all, it actually intensified the copper undertone that I wanted to get rid of even more!
From now on, this balm is a must-have among my hair care products. I am currently using the Platinum and Cold Blond for naturally dark hair lightened up to 10 tones. The balm does its job wonderfully - it gives a shade and tones the hair. It should not be used as a dye. The only downside is that it washes off quite quickly from my hair. But I can still use it once a week. When I return to my natural, almost black hair, I will definitely try the warm and cold shades of chestnut, as well as black. Overall, I am satisfied. It's a super balm. I will always have it now. I love it.
I ordered two tinted balms from this series (platinum and cool blondes).
I am very satisfied. The hair after toning is simply delightful. It feels like I didn't dye it, but laminated it.
Girls, don't expect a coloring effect! This is not hair dye!
I love these toners! For lightened ends or when hair has become slightly dull after coloring - applied for 20-30 minutes, rinsed - hair is smooth and pleasant + a cool intense color.
The most beautiful effect, of course, is when it's freshly toned. It gradually washes out after 3-5 times.
I held it for 30 minutes, a cold blonde. Absolutely no effect, not at all. Just a waste of money.
It heavily dyed my hair.. I wanted a lighter shade, but in the end it dyed heavily, even though I left it on for 20 minutes instead of 30. When I washed my hair, the color didn't wash out at all, even after using shampoo. I used up more than half of the product. I didn't notice any stylish scent. It doesn't dry out the hair.
My hair has become dryer and the color is not very vibrant.
I agree with the positive reviews. Excellent balm, the copper color is very rich!
I noticed that the company Syoss responds to reviews themselves. Please note!!! The gloves tore during coloring and now my nude manicure has turned an unhealthy yellow color!!! How can I remove this balm from my nails?! The red balm is often used, it has a great color, lasts a long time, and applies evenly, but the gloves let me down this time((
I got the copper effect wow on my blonde hair, but the color lasted until the first time I washed my hair, washed my head and it's like I never colored it.
My first tonic. My hair is porous, dry, thick, and curly. This is exactly what I need for highlighting. My hair has become softer, and the tonic has removed the yellowing. I liked it. I will continue to use it. Thank you, Makeup, for changing the delivery address.
I bought a copper product, it strongly stains the scalp.
I didn't buy it here. It smells awful, constantly gave me a headache. No effect at all. The only thing is that my hair became softer, but with this smell... I bought Be Blonde.
From light hair to dark in one go! Super! Just that I kept it for 35 minutes instead of 20 :)
I did not buy it here. I didn't really like the balm. I have natural light red hair, so I bought the "warm chestnut" shade. As a result, my hair became simply red, especially at the roots, but even my husband didn't notice the change right away, and there's hardly any change in the length. In short, the balm gave my hair a barely noticeable reddish shade, which is not what I wanted – I wanted warm chestnut! I followed the instructions, maybe I needed to leave it on longer or use more product to achieve the desired color. It has a strong smell and the scent lingers on the hair for a long time. My hair becomes dry and tangled after using it.
Does not smell, has a slightly chemical odor but not critical. Colors excellently, washes off very quickly. The condition of the hair has not changed at all.
I recommend it for those who want to experiment.
The conditioner did not work for my natural hair. My hair was in terrible condition after toning (when it finally washed out), and I had to spend a long time restoring it with various procedures.
I didn't buy it here but I'll leave a review. I didn't like the balm, the effect was only once, not like it was written on the package "up to 8 times using shampoo", I didn't notice the shade, my hair only slightly shined and that's it. I didn't like the ammonia smell, I tried Estel toning balm before, there the color was very noticeable, but this one was strange, plus it dried my hair.
This balm specializes in coloring. It is clear that care takes a back seat and it can dry out the hair. Therefore, it is not recommended to overuse it.
Even a professional toning balm did not give such an effect as this one.
I bought the cold chestnut shade. The smell is much nicer compared to the Estel mask! The hair is soft and shiny after using the conditioner. The color is also even and beautiful. Definitely worth the money.
