Now this cream-gel is my favorite. I have combination skin type and occasional breakouts. The Effaclar cleansing products helped in fighting the breakouts, but they also dried out my skin a lot, so I decided to try this one out and I am satisfied. Toleriane Anti-Inconforts cleanses the skin nicely and after using it, there is no feeling of dryness or tightness. It meets all the claimed characteristics: reduces redness and irritation, restores the protective barrier (which resulted in significantly fewer breakouts), and gently cleanses the skin.

I received this as a gift with the sunscreen, so I tried it. However, I removed my makeup with a hydrophilic oil before using it, so I can't say how well it removes makeup. It doesn't foam, but it did remove the oil from my skin in one go, which was nice because with a cleanser I usually have to wash twice. One thing I didn't like is that when it got into my eyes, it stung a little and there was a slight burning sensation around my eyes, but nothing unpleasant after rinsing it off. After my skin dried, I didn't apply anything else to see how it felt afterward, and I was pleasantly surprised that my pores seemed to have tightened, my skin was clean, and it looked velvety without any tightness, etc. So, after the first use, I would give this product a solid 4 out of 5, because of the discomfort with the eyes, which is basically the only downside I noticed. Just a note, I have oily skin with imperfections.

The gel looks like simple milk, it does not foam at all. Strange sensations on the face. It dries out the skin very much. I have dry skin prone to allergies. This product absolutely did not suit me.

I have combination skin, but in recent months it has started to dry out a lot, so if someone has the same problem, this product may help you along with the cream (La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso Biome) it moisturizes the skin, the areas that were very dry returned to normal, I didn't notice any breakouts or clogged pores after using these two products, but there are always individual skin characteristics. If you expect the cleanser to help with acne, soften the skin, and who knows what else, don't expect that, the product is meant for skin cleansing, and it does a great job with that.

Bought it for my combination skin with breakouts, I can't say anything bad about it, gentle cleansing, pleasant subtle scent, quite economical. It doesn't dry out or tighten the skin, which is a big plus for me. Overall, I liked it, I recommend it if you're interested in regular cleansing, it's a good gel for its price.
