Super balm! I had only hoped for it and it really helped. I applied it twice a day and at night, and after 2 days my lips started to recover. I recommend it!
Comparing it to the lip balm Cicaplast, Avene - Intensive Moisturizing and Healing, Cicaplast is more like a barrier and not the same kind of moisturization as Cicalfate.
He is currently on retinoids. The dermatologist prescribed this product for the lips. Indeed, it has improved.

I bought this lip balm in Spain, not here, but I want to leave a review. I came to the pharmacy with severely cracked lips and was offered this balm. In general, my lips healed very quickly, and I felt relief after the first day of use. Now, when I feel that either a cold sore is starting or my lips are drying out, I immediately know what to use. Understand that this is a medicinal product that HEALS!! It should not create a cosmetic effect. This is a remedy for a problem like the one I had, for example.

On systemic retinoids, my lips get very dry, and this balm moisturizes them, but it leaves an unpleasant white residue on the lips. I only use it at home.
I didn't like this balm, it creates an unpleasant film and also leaves white marks, which is the most annoying thing about this product. Perhaps if your lips are intact, without cracks and scratches, this wouldn't be an issue, but it is very noticeable on damaged lips. I will go back to using Cicaplast from La Roche.
It's a pity that this balm only has 4 stars, I would give it a perfect 10. I have incredibly dry lips and all the balms I've tried either create a film (which then washes off/eats away, while the dryness remains) or get absorbed and need to be constantly reapplied. Yes, it does leave white marks on the lips and leaves traces on dishes, but it's not a lipstick, it's a healing balm. So, giving it a low rating just because of this property seems illogical. My perfect routine is to apply it before bed and wake up with amazing lips! It truly heals and restores, nothing compares to Carmex. Overall, it's love and I've finally found what I've been searching for for so long!
