In regular body care, cotton swabs have become a necessity that one simply cannot do without. Despite their simple and straightforward design, these products can be used not only for cleaning ear canals (which should be done with particular caution) and nostrils, but also for the precise application of special cosmetic products, makeup and manicure correction, and treating wounds and cuts. As these tools are intended for personal hygiene, it is advisable to choose those made from high-quality natural materials.
Cotton swabs from the French brand Bocoton come in a practical package. A set of 200 pieces will last for a long time. The main difference of these tools from other similar products is that the tips are made from eco-friendly cotton, and the sticks are made from sturdy cardboard, making them fully biodegradable. The swabs quickly absorb moisture, and the cotton is wound so tightly that it does not unravel.

These are used for gentle cleaning of ear surfaces. The sticks can also be used to apply cream to blemishes and other skin imperfections.
These cotton swabs are of good quality, with no loose cotton. They are convenient for removing mascara that accidentally gets on the eyelid. This is my second time purchasing them. The packaging is not very user-friendly, but since I transfer them in small portions to another container in the bathroom, it's manageable. If they are using biodegradable plastic, they could have made the entire packaging from it and included a larger note about the plastic composition.
I agree with the comments about the plastic packaging. It's a bit of a confusion. But the chopsticks themselves are excellent. Previously, with plastic chopsticks, I would clean them from cotton and collect them to recycle the plastic. Now, I can easily throw them away without feeling guilty. However, I need to find ones that come in biodegradable packaging.
I didn't really like the France Bokoton product. The packaging is plastic on top, but it is very thick, while the bottom is made of cardboard and is full of holes. The sticks inside are randomly scattered. The best option, of course, is Turkey Organic for 150 UAH, which has a cardboard packaging with 1% polyethylene on top, without any plastic. However, the Spain Masmis is twice as cheap. I will never buy plastic sticks again!
The chopsticks themselves are great. But what's the point of making an eco-product and packaging it in plastic???
I deducted one star because the packaging is not as shown in the photo and is covered with a plastic lid(!). I will never understand why eco-friendly cotton swabs are sold in a NON-ECOLOGICAL packaging.
