Lip Balm "Pineapple and Mint" - Carmex Lip Balm
A find for summer heat. It doesn't burn the lips but cools them. The pineapple is barely noticeable, and there is a slight sensation of vaseline, which is a minus star for that.
More sweet mint than pineapple, with a cool touch.
I ordered it because of the pineapple, but there is only a faint aroma of it. It is a very minty balm. It has a chemical taste when used with drinks. It tingles the lips but does not plump them.
Great lip balm, moisturizes well and looks beautiful on the lips.
Unfortunately, the balm did not meet my expectations. When applied, my lips feel greasy and this sensation doesn't go away. It disappointed me just like pure paw paw did. It's simply Vaseline in a tube and it costs a decent amount of money. I remember Nivea watermelon, it was a truly top-notch balm that saved from dryness and protected.
The taste is good, but the effect lasts only 30 minutes and then you have to reapply it on the lips. It is the least long-lasting lipstick from the collection.
This is my first balm from Carmex and I really liked it, but in cold weather it tends to freeze a bit and you have to warm it up well to squeeze out even a little bit.
The smell and sensation - yes, pleasant.
Pineapple and mint are well felt, mint adds a "cooling" effect on the lips, the taste of the balm is sweet. Does it moisturize the lips well in the winter period? 50/50.
The texture is sticky, so while the balm is on the lips - all good, but if not, I didn't notice that the desired moisturizing lasts for a long time.
A big disadvantage for me was that it freezes in frosty weather, so you have to make an extra effort to apply it from the tube.
"It bakes very cool/fun."
In my opinion, this is the most pleasant scent from the entire range, but it moisturizes and heals worse than the cherry or strawberry Carmex.
The balm moisturizes the lips nicely. It heals wounds. When used, it slightly tingles (probably due to the mint in the composition) and creates the effect of plump lips. Pineapple and mint are definitely my favorite.
Quickly disappears from the lips, does not smell like pineapple, but rather like medicine, I will not buy this again, it lasts longer in stick form, it's better to buy that instead.
Very cool moisturizes! I recommend it.
Personally, I liked it. It gives a light cool sensation on the lips, and the scent is just WOW. It fulfilled its purpose. This is my third time purchasing it, and it lasts a long time.
Good balm, at first it stings a little and tingles, but then it goes away. It has a very tasty aroma, makes you want to eat it) However, I don't really like the stickiness on my lips, and it is sticky. It does moisturize my lips well though.
In the previous review, it was mentioned that it causes addiction - I agree with that too. All balms from the healing line of Carmex are not intended for daily use, but as emergency aid for healing. If you want to use it daily, Carmex has a separate line of daily balms.
I have been using it for over 2 months, so I can give a complete picture. Compared to the original carmex, this one has a much more pleasant smell (even taste), but personally I didn't feel any pineapple at all, more like caramel. As always, it has a cooling effect. Interestingly, they differ in consistency, with pineapple mint being more liquid. Regarding the rumors about it causing addiction - it's absolutely true. If you use it regularly, after about 2 weeks your lips will become INCREDIBLY dry if you try to switch to a product from another brand. Honestly, I can't recommend it. If you're willing to pay extra for the name and be content with soft lips only when using specifically carmex, then go ahead and buy it, but it's definitely not worth it. And if you really want to try it, I suggest getting one with some scent, but not the original one.
Super cool, moisturizing balm! It cools and smells deliciously like pineapple and mint. It also effectively restores dry lips, just like the original Carmex.
Nice smell, but complete lack of moisturization. After the balm absorbs, there are no nourishing properties. While it is applied, it smells nice, slightly tingles, and slightly moisturizes.
Dense consistency, delicious sweet pineapple scent, it slightly tingles the lips the first time. It moisturizes and softens the lips well. A worthy lip balm.
I thought it would be smaller in size, but I was pleasantly surprised. It moisturizes well, and you don't need to apply a lot of it. It's my favorite lip balm. I find it more convenient in this tube form than in a lipstick shape.
The smell is pleasant and the effect is always top-notch.
It smells, it shines, but it does not moisturize.
Just a wonderful balm; moisturizes, pleasantly tingles the lips and has a noticeable light coolness, and as for the smell, I won't even mention it.
Balm is really cool, when applied it gives a slight chill and a bit of tingling, but it's amazing for summer. The scent and taste are very pleasant. It came in packaging, compared to other flavors)
I really love Carmex. I had the cherry-flavored stick and the classic tube. It protects from wind and cold in the winter, from the sun in the summer, and if applied overnight, it heals cracks. As for this specific balm, it is just as good as the ones I've had before. The smell is amazing and it performs all its functions. I think if it didn't work for you, it's probably due to individual intolerance to some ingredients, but it's worth a try.
It feels nice on the lips, slightly cooling in the first few minutes, not sticky, smells good. But it doesn't really provide much moisture, so I would rate it average.
Cool!
I fell for the advertisement and got this "miracle" product... it stung a bit when applying, but after a couple of uses, I started having problems with my lips!!! They look normal, but they feel completely dried out and covered with a film! This has never happened to me before! In conclusion, I have to say that there's nothing better than plain petroleum jelly or Fresh Juice brand lipsticks. I'm just disappointed and upset.
I love Carmex, all except the classic one, because of its specific smell. This one became a discovery for me, with a pleasant scent of pineapple and mint.
I baked a little something, here's a photo of the ingredients.
