I have dry skin that flakes in winter, and I also slightly burned it with a peel. At first, this cream helped restore my skin, but I still felt like it needed more hydration. But then I realized that it works perfectly as a sealant for any other skincare products, serums, gels, etc. I apply a moisturizing cream from Clinique or Cosrx over a serum, as they are too light for winter on their own, and then I apply Cicalfate+ on top of everything. My skin has never been so moisturized and calm, it even doesn't break out before critical days.
