Beloved by the British, the Floris brand was founded back in 1730. Having existed in the market for nearly three centuries, it has not only solidified its position but also earned a reputation as an impeccable manufacturer, with each new product being a significant event in the fashion world.
The No 89 Eau de Toilette has also become legendary. Men have been using it since 1951, and the fragrance remains as popular and relevant as ever. Its top note is a vibrant blend of orange, bergamot, lavender, nutmeg, and neroli. This incredible ensemble captivates and enchants from the very first breath. At the heart of the perfume lies a gentle duet of geranium and rose. The base notes feature sensual and noble components: vetiver, musk, and oakmoss. This fragrance is a worthy representative of elite perfumery, belonging to the woody-fougere type. It complements a man's image with elegant sophistication, restrained determination, and mysterious allure.
Excellent product. Rating slightly below maximum because I have been using Floris for a very long time and I know how it used to be. The perfume presented in the photo is slightly inferior in quality. However, it is much better than most of the so-called elite perfumes currently available. But this rating only applies to this batch. If you receive a bottle with the batch code WM13398-2, it is better to avoid buying it. It lacks the embossed swirls on the label frame. This is a new design and the packaging leaves no doubt about its authenticity. It's just a sloppy job from a manufacturer with three centuries of experience. The scent is worse than the previous batch, with a background note that resembles either paint thinner or kerosene. Using it can cause slight nausea. The supplier in Ukraine moderates the reviews on their website, so I am posting this on other platforms. Of course, this does not apply to the rest of Floris' products. I happily use almost all the products from the Elite and No. 89 lines.
