Amouage Love Mimosa Eau de Parfum

I treated myself on March 8th)). I really wanted to immerse myself in the scent of fluffy yellow mimosa flowers, but alas! Instead of mimosa, the scent is reminiscent of freshly squeezed juice from its green stems, meaning leaves and woody branches. This fragrance would be better suited for a pistachio-colored bottle, the color of mimosa leaves. But of course, the creators know best. Overall, the scent is not bad, fresh, green, cool, airy, and spring-like. It doesn't suffocate, and for that, I am thankful. The longevity is impressive, it leaves a trail! BUT it's not the scent of mimosa, as stated on the box, the bottle, and in the scent pyramid! For me, it's not worth the asking price, I'd rather buy Chanel with that money! This is my first Amouage fragrance, and now I will pass by this brand.

In my opinion, there is no distinct mimosa note. There is a bouquet of spring flowers, fresh, green, but not solely mimosa. The perfume creates a festive spring mood. The scent is long-lasting, as my coworkers have said that my fragrance trail reaches the corridor before even reaching my office. In my opinion, this perfume is suitable for cool weather, then it becomes resonant and ethereal. In humid weather, it can be overpowering and the soapy quality arises, as I sense a retro note reminiscent of a men's shaving product, but it dissipates in cooler temperatures.
