I had a sample of this product from a set. It is a very thick oil that is impossible to wash off even with foam. Here's what I did: I rubbed this oil into dry facial skin, including the eyes. I rinsed (or tried to) with warm water. I washed my face with foam. I wiped my face with a cotton pad soaked in toner. The cotton pad had traces of undissolved foundation. I threw away the balm, luckily I didn't buy the full size. If someone likes similar natural products, then Dr. Hauschka has a balm that can be washed off and leaves very pleasant sensations. However, it is also not suitable for makeup removal.
