I am completely disappointed. My hair is slightly below shoulder length, medium thickness, and slightly wavy. I bought it, tried it, and abandoned it. After some time, I decided to give it a second chance, I tried it around 20 times - with no results. Just a slight head shake and everything falls apart.
This is simply the best tattoo in the world! I'm glad I bought extra, fearing that it might not be available in the future (like now))). But I still need more! So, I'm eagerly awaiting its return.
I really liked it. I "made friends" with the hairpin on the very first day, although not on the first try. It seems like no one recommended anything similar, maybe my method will work for someone: I push a large lower loop under the actual bun, rotating it essentially under the hair close to the scalp, and the smaller (upper) loop goes into the bun itself and holds it. This way, nothing sticks out and it stays securely all day at home (while twisting my hair to one side and twisting the hairpin in the opposite direction, as instructed). I don't know how, but it works on my long straight smooth hair of average thickness, even though normally no hairstyle stays in place for me. It doesn't pull or break my hair, my head doesn't hurt, it's simply fantastic. It would be great if it also held up overnight, but that's already in the realm of fantasy))
My hair doesn't hold well.
Money wasted in vain.
I have thin hair and even my hair doesn't hold. Don't waste money on this thing. With a regular elastic band, you can make a better bun.
What the manufacturers were thinking is unclear...
Unfortunately, it does not hold my hair((
This product is not suitable for long, thick hair. It does not hold anything at all, regardless of whether you twist it clockwise or counterclockwise, or even if you try two twists simultaneously. It's a waste of money.
After trying these hairpins, I couldn't resist keeping them. At first, it seems impossible to twist something with them, but once you figure out how to do it correctly, you realize it's love.
I have long and liquid hair. I wear this hairpin around the house, sleep with it, and use it to secure my hair when I have to travel far. It's very convenient with it.
I lost my first ones, so I ordered them again. I highly recommend giving them a try.
Favorite hair clip! The most convenient one. Order two packs right away.
It took me some time to become friends with these hairpins, and sometimes I still struggle to get it right on the first try, but I really liked them. I have thin, blonde hair that reaches my shoulders, and I can make two buns with them.
Even with just one hairpin and some spirals, I can secure one bun. What I liked is that when I use these hairpins, there is not as much tension as with hair ties, and my hair roots don't hurt (and I have very sensitive skin in that area. I can't walk for a long time).
To make the buns, I recommend checking the instructions online or following this advice: when making a ponytail for the bun, roll it up like a spiral twist instead of just wrapping the ponytail around (there's a high chance it won't work that way), and once it's twisted, fix it well and thread the sharp end inside the bun and twist it (it's similar to how Eliza F does it at the bottom of the bun).
If it were possible to give a "zero" rating, I definitely would. This product is probably suitable for children who only have three strands of hair. If you throw away these 135 UAH, the result will be the same.
I really like these hairpins. I can wear them all day without feeling any pulling or discomfort. Afterward, my scalp doesn't hurt, and they don't damage my hair. I have very long hair, and I can even create a hairstyle using just one hairpin.
Photo for the previous review.
Hello, I just received this amazing hairpin))) I've read a lot of reviews and was hesitant to buy it, but no, everything is perfect. I was able to make a bun on my first try. It works exactly as described. I tightly twisted the strand of hair and wrapped it around, then secured it with the hairpin. It holds everything in place without pulling on my hair. My hair is not thick, it's straight, and it reaches my shoulder blades in length.
My shoulder-length hair is not very thick, and the hairpin doesn't hold well enough. I couldn't get used to it to feel comfortable, constantly feeling like my hairstyle would fall apart (although I don't like tight buns).
So in my case, my concerns based on other reviews came true. Although I hoped that I would be able to get along with this hairpin. I took a risk, but it turned out to be a waste of money. I won't be wearing hairpins.
I have smooth, uncolored hair that reaches down to my waist, and I was able to make a bun immediately. I read comments saying that some girls struggle to create a hairstyle with them, so I was worried about it. But everything worked out on the first try. It doesn't feel tight and holds well. I won't be making ponytails with a hairband anymore.
I just received these hairpins today (there are 2 of them in the package), and I haven't fully gotten used to them yet. My bun turns out okay, but not very beautiful. I think I just need to find the right way to do it with my own hair. However, the bun stays in place and doesn't pull on my hair at all. It feels comfortable. But using the hairpin requires some skill, definitely.
I bought this hairpin a few months ago. I have tried to twist my hair into a bun a hundred times already, but it just doesn't work. I have even watched YouTube tutorials, but sadly, no luck.
I bought this product for my daughter a year ago. The hair is natural, thick, and wavy. Initially, I didn't need to use a hairpin because it was waist-length. However, now the hair is shoulder-length and constantly falls out, causing the hairpin to easily come off. This product is suitable for those with thin, fine hair, just like mine.
Interesting toy, the bundle turned out right away.
But it's not worth its money (I bought it for 151 UAH)...
I recommend buying it for 70-100 UAH.
It turned out to be a very convenient thing, it made both high and low bun hairstyles. My long but very thin hair holds very securely! It is important to at least once look at the instructions and note how to twist it into the hair! It doesn't pull, bite, or break the hair! But for now, I can't achieve a beautiful bun for going out, it's more of a home accessory for me! Maybe my opinion will change over time, I have only been using it for a few days. I am happy with this purchase! Thank you for the discount!
Great thing! The hairpin holds very long hair all day. The main thing is to learn how to fix it. You need to feel the hairstyle and intuitively twist it correctly. It starts to work perfectly after 3-4 tries. Before that, everything fell and didn't hold.
There are 2 hairpins in the package. But 1 is enough for a bunch of long hair.
Doesn't hold anything. Completely useless item. Disappointed.
Interesting thing. I have thin, medium-length hair, so the hairpin sticks out a bit. I only use it for home hairstyles for now, I haven't gotten used to creating "beauty" yet. It doesn't tear or pull the hair, and it doesn't press anywhere.
Great gadget! Although for now, I can only achieve tight curls, I am confident that I will learn to create more voluminous ones :)
I didn't like it, there was too much unnecessary fuss, and it doesn't provide enough hold for my thick hair. With this same brand's hair ties, it's easier for me to make a bun, which looks better and stays in place longer. The only positive aspect is that it's not noticeable in the hair if properly secured, but I can achieve that only occasionally.
These hairpins are excellent; the set includes two pieces.
Interesting device. Suitable for home hairstyles, it stays on for hours if properly secured from the start. It takes some getting used to, I can only do it right every other time, but it works well on my waist-length smooth hair, which is not easy to style in general.
This hair clip is effective for creating a bun and is quite reliable (not for sports though). It requires some skill and time to get it right. However, the result depends on the length and density of your hair. The girl in the photo instructions has decent hair, so the outcome is as expected. My hair reaches my shoulder blades and has a straight cut (grown-out bob). The length of the ponytail on the crown is about 45cm, and I was able to make a bun easily. On the nape, the length of the ponytail is around 35cm, and it's impossible to make a bun there. I didn't immediately realize that I could try different ways of using the clip; the tip doesn't stay in place, and the bun falls apart right away. Only after a week did I think of measuring the length of my hair. Additionally, my hair is quite poor-quality - thin and sparse. The bun doesn't look great, and the clip sticks out a lot. It seems that the manufacturer should have emphasized these nuances.
The hair doesn't break. That's the only positive thing about it. It only holds for about thirty seconds. I only use it to support my hair in the shower. The price for such a purpose is very high.
