I have a strong red undertone, so I leave it on for 7 minutes, which is okay for my tone. You need to experiment and find your own timing, but for the first time, 5 minutes maximum, if the effect is insufficient, then increase the time. Well, it also has excellent nourishing properties.

But it would be nice to mention that it should only be used with gloves, as my hands got stained immediately. I barely managed to wash it off. It slightly dried out my hair.

I have dark chestnut natural hair that gradually fades into reddish strands towards the ends. And overall, there is a noticeable copper tint in the sun. I couldn't find a neutralizer for natural dark hair anywhere. I bought this one to try it out - I applied it just in case over a basin (so it wouldn't stain my restored acrylic bathtub) while wearing gloves, but what got on my hands also washed off. I poured the rinsed balm into the bathtub - it didn't dye it, but I spotlessly wiped off the parts where the pure acetone had dripped. Conclusion - it might penetrate in its pure form. I left it on my hair for a little over the recommended 5 minutes. As a balm, it's okay, it makes combing easier and adds shine. Subjectively, it seems like my hair became slightly drier, but I have oily scalp, so it's not a big deal for me. As for the effect - I didn't turn green, the ends and roots became slightly more even, the hair became slightly more neutral and darker, similar to the example shown by the manufacturer on a dark girl with Afro hair. I bought it for around 325 UAH. The most important thing for me is that after toning, my hair doesn't look dyed, I was interested in a natural-looking option. Overall, I don't look like a teenager with Tonika-dyed hair. Maybe it's necessary to be careful and not overdo it with layering the product, but my initial impressions are positive - there is no green, blue, or other "cheap" tint in the sun.
