Apply the lightest shade to the upper eyelid and blend upwards towards the brow line. Then use the darkest shade on the lower eyelid and blend it out. Apply the dark shade to the upper lash line and the inner corners of the eyes. Blend a little bit. Use darker shade on the moveable part of the lid, blending well to avoid any harsh edges.
