Consistency in the scrub is perfect. Very comfortable and convenient to use. The scent is to my taste, typical for sun protection products for the body in the summer.
Despite the aforementioned positives, I am deducting two stars because after using and applying body cream, there is an unpleasant sensation on the skin and a desire to bathe again. It's hard to explain, because it's not even stickiness, but rather a kind of rubbery feeling. I don't really want to use it again, unlike with the Collistar body scrub.
I understood that salt scrubs are not for me, and I'm not particularly fond of the smell either. I bought it mainly for the packaging, so I'm not disappointed. Moreover, it exfoliates and nourishes the skin well due to the oils in its composition. Life hack: before exfoliating, dampen the skin with a towel to remove excess water, otherwise, because of the higher amount of oils, the scrub will simply slide and not even grip the skin.
I didn't buy it here. As a scrub, it's not very good, but as a moisturizing shower oil - it's great. I don't use body lotion after using it, my skin is dry. The scent is either of lilies of the valley or Soviet perfumes, but after drying on the skin, it has a gentle scent. The scent doesn't stay on home clothes.
The best body scrub!
I ordered a Greek makeup a couple of days ago and received the package. Initially, I was choosing between frangipani and lime with ginger, and I was worried that I wouldn't like the scent. But when I decided to order, there was no lime and ginger available. So, I ordered frangipani and I have absolutely no regrets. The scent is really delicate. The scrub is good, but I use it on clean, towel-dried skin. Then it is more "scrubby". At first, it is difficult to apply, but then it spreads a little and can be worked well. There is a presence of this oily film after rinsing... It doesn't bother me much, someone wrote that the skin feels sticky, but it's not sticky. It's like... it squeaks or something, but it seems sticky... The scrub doesn't provide enough moisturization for me. Today, I used it for the second time and applied a collagen cream from Academie on top. I will definitely buy frangipani body cream as well. I really liked the scent, although I usually prefer creams with no scent at all.
If you like to scrub yourself well, then this scrub is not suitable, it is very fine and gentle. If you want a really "scrubby" one, choose sugar scrubs.
The smell is very strong (to me it smells like expensive perfume, I don't feel the frangipani flower) and it stays on the body throughout the day.
I don't feel any tightness, there is an oily film left on the body, no desire to layer more after the cream.
Colistar is more scrubby, Elemis has a better scent.
I couldn't choose the best one, I use both depending on my mood.
I was gifted this scrub for my birthday. I have read good reviews everywhere, but after using it, my skin feels as if it is coated with something and tightened. I can feel that something is not right. And there is an uncomfortable sensation after applying it, which lasts the whole day until I wash it off.
The scrub has a divine scent and is not too harsh. After using it, you feel the sensation of exfoliated skin and you definitely need to use a lotion or cream afterwards. I used to use Collistar and it was the best, but now I find two different scrubs to be equally good.
The texture of the scrub is pleasant and the scent on the body after the shower is nice. However, the moisturizing effect on the skin lasts only for a couple of minutes, and afterwards, there is a feeling of tightness. It didn't suit me very well as it slightly scratches the skin instead of exfoliating it.
Collistar was my favorite for a long time, but now it's this one. Everything about it is absolutely perfect.
The scrub is simply delightful. The skin feels moisturized, soft, and has a pleasant scent after using it. The particles in the scrub are moderately large, and the scent is a matter of personal preference; it might be a bit strong for some, but I like it. It's worth every penny.
