Academie White Derm Acte Pre-Serum Hydratant Eclaircissant is an intermediate care. The product should be applied after cleansing the skin - it prepares the epidermis for subsequent application of cosmetic products, promoting better absorption of useful ingredients. Hyaluronic acid in the pre-serum moisturizes the skin while the White-3 complex (licorice, bran and mallow extracts) lightens and evens out skin tone, eliminating pigmentation.

Method 1 (classic pre-serum): Clean the skin, apply the serum. As soon as it has been absorbed by the skin, use a cream according to your skin type.
Method 2: (intensive mask): damp cotton pads in the pre-serum. Place on the face for 5 minutes. Remove the cotton pads, continue treatment according to the classic skincare routine (apply cream or other serum + cream).
Very nice thing, but everything is individual. If someone is unsure if it suits them, it's better to get a 10ml sample from a cosmetologist. I've been using this product for 5 years. I really like it.
The serum is just amazing!!!
The tonic doesn't replace, definitely. If you apply oily compositions on top, the preserum rolls off (apparently, it doesn't absorb enough). It seems to moisturize... but it's not enough for me - I had to reorder the tonic. Now, I apply the tonic, then the preserum on top, then the serum and cream. And still, there is a feeling of tightness... I don't know why.. maybe it's a question for my skin - it's dry after courses of Obagi with retinol and hydroquinone.
But what confused me the most - the smell.. - am I the only one who smells gasoline? For those who understand compositions, please tell me, is there anything petroleum-based in it? The smell is just awful..
And also, MAKEUP, preserum, and cream (also, Academie) arrived from the EU without any sealed film on top of the boxes - is it supposed to be like this? Just, the serum completely spilled out of its box and was loose in the delivery box when I opened it...((
Overall, the product rating is not great...

Very pleasant texture!
The most favorite serum. I took it as a trial from a cosmetologist, then ordered it here. It's amazing, but I only like it when used together with the toner from TM Kristina. Then the face simply shines as if after a cosmetic procedure.
