I have been using the Wilkinson Sword interchangeable blade razor for some time now. I haven't found any drawbacks for myself. I used to use Gillette Venus, but I have no desire to go back to it. The blade sharpening is excellent, the blades stay sharp for a long time, it doesn't cause irritation, there is a risk of cuts as with any razor, but the ergonomics are good. The price/quality ratio is excellent.
