I was "lucky" to have combination skin on the oily side and occasionally suffer from severe breakouts. Just during one of those periods, I bought a facial cleansing gel (not from Makeup, in a branded store). The gel itself has a strong smell of tea tree, quite chemical. It doesn't foam very much, but it lasts a long time. I liked the effect: within a week, the breakouts significantly decreased. It does dry out the skin, but I don't think there's any other way to solve my problem. I also use the tea tree oil cream from the same series, and it moisturizes quite well. The gel handles its tasks well, overall I recommend it. You just need to get used to the smell.
My son's skin doesn't dry out with this gel. I really liked it.
