One of the best clays I've tried. I've been looking for a product that would hold my hairstyle well throughout the day for hair length of 5-7cm (short quiff), but without feeling heavy. Rough Rider did the job. The hairstyle holds, hair can be easily adjusted throughout the day without tangling, and the finish is not a dull matte look as if the hair is overly dry, but rather a beautifully shiny appearance. The only thing I noticed is that if the hair is washed with something cheap from the mass-market, the effect of the styling may not be as good as intended.
Matte finish. Excellent hold. Cool texture. Bomb smell. Wonderful ingredients. Tried stylings from 300 hryvnias to 1500. This is the best I've tried. Love for life :-)
This is the best thing I have tried. None of the clays even come close to this one. And I have tried different ones: Hanz de Fuko CLAYMATION, Moroccanoil Texture Clay, Shear Revival American Gardens Clay Pomade, Shear Revival Northern Lights Matte Paste, Uppercut Clay, Uppercut Matte Paste... and about a dozen others.
The application is amazing, the distribution is great, it shapes beautifully, has a nice matte finish, excellent flexible hold, and the scent is just wow... everything is really cool.
Gorgeous hair clay Kevin.Murphy Rough.Rider. The texture is amazing. The finish is not super matte, but it doesn't shine either. It's more towards the matte side. The hold is excellent. Pleasant consistency and a luxurious scent. The only downside is that it washes off after 2-3 times, both from the hair and hands. But these are just minor inconveniences in life.
