I can't smell any powdery notes. Indeed, it has a sharp smell. It actually seems more masculine to me. In my opinion, it smells like some kind of men's shampoo or foam shaving care product. There's a hint of sweetness, but it's sharp and rough. The longevity is decent, but my head started hurting from the persistent, sharp fragrance.
