I haven't noticed a strong "wow" effect so far (been using it for a month), but I have noticed that my skin heals faster after cleansing.
Do not expect results after a week of use. I ordered the serum in December. Now, after daily use, I can say that there are results. The skin looks healthier, has a natural glow, and a more even tone. I stopped using BB and CC creams, and there have been no breakouts, maybe just 1 or 2 pimples. Satisfied. I recommend it.
Unfortunately, I don't notice any effect, except for a couple of small pimples after each use.
I liked the serum: it really brightens, gives a rosy glow, and reduces skin peeling in winter. I have occasional breakouts, so this product helps to reduce inflammation. I use it twice a day together with a squalane cream. If you rub the skin well, it will flake off, but since I don't wear much makeup, it's not a problem for me.
Just started using it, it doesn't feel moisturizing, on the contrary, it feels like I applied egg white on my face. But after about 15 minutes, this effect goes away! The skin seems more tightened! But without additional moisturization, it's not enough! After about 20 minutes, I apply a moisturizing cream!
I ordered this serum a long time ago, when The Ordinary was not as easily accessible in Ukraine. It was my first vitamin C serum, completely comfortable and non-irritating. It lasted for about 3 months with daily use, and I noticed the following effects: brightening of pigmentation after breakouts, a radiant glow, evening out of skin tone, and strengthening (as if densifying) the skin.
This product is a solid 5 out of 5. After using it, I have moved on to more potent forms of vitamin C.
The serum worked well for me, it brightens and evens out my skin tone. It doesn't cause any breakouts when applied, and I usually follow it up with a moisturizer. I only use it at night.
Not a bad serum, evens out skin tone.
It is best to apply the serum in the evening and cover it with a cream after about 30 minutes. It has a specific consistency, so if you're planning to apply makeup in the morning, it may not work well! Unless you wake up earlier :) My cosmetologist recommended using the serum in the morning (for oily problem skin) with niacinamide, also followed by a cream, but it can be applied immediately.
It suited me: improves skin turgor, I wouldn't say it whitens, but it definitely makes the complexion look fresher. I cover it with cream because I don't like the feeling of a film on my face. It doesn't clump, but I don't use foundation, I immediately use mineral powder after the cream. I didn't buy it here.
Good serum, slightly moisturizes the face, but definitely requires sealing with a cream. There is a light skin lightening effect. I use it once a day because, as mentioned below, it rolls off, but it doesn't bother me.
The serum is good, but it rolls horribly no matter how much or how you apply it. It does provide moisturizing and brightening effects. The manufacturer recommends applying it in the morning and evening, but it is simply impossible to do so under makeup in the morning, as it rolls off.
