AHA & Hyaluronic Acid Face Peeling The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA

I really liked this peeling. I have oily skin prone to breakouts. I used it 2-3 times a week. It evened out my skin tone and helped reduce closed comedones. I apply it at night and after about an hour, I follow up with a moisturizer. I noticed the effects after 5-6 uses.

Very dissatisfied! This is my first peel, and I wish it would finish quickly, but the consumption is incredibly minimal! It feels like I've smeared oil all over myself ((I have combination skin, not very oily. I use the peel twice a week and moisturize with an ordinary cream. It feels sticky and unpleasant, the oil runs all over my face, and my face becomes as greasy as a pancake. I haven't noticed any improvements. No smoother tone as they claim, no reduction in breakouts.

Unfortunately, the serum did not help with that, on the contrary, my face feels oily in the morning. It is unpleasant. I have tried it in different combinations and did not see any effect in my case. Therefore, I do not have a desire to continue using it.

I decided to try acids because they were said to be the gentlest for beginners. I want to mention that it does not remove sebaceous glands, for example, and there are still some subcutaneous pimples (they were there even before using the peel), for which there are other products. I used it every evening, washed my face with Cerave, and then applied about 3-5 drops of the peel to my dry face. If there is a feeling of insufficient moisture afterwards, you can apply more cream, but that was enough for me.

The 5% milk version is also not bad, but much weaker, suitable for everyday use. This one is not for daily use. I used it in courses, with several procedures, and then took breaks because my skin was in such a condition that I didn't need to use it. In short, I definitely recommend it! Although the manufacturer claims that the product is suitable for all skin types, almond acid is only recommended for combination and oily skin. It reduces sebum production, making it less viscous and drying it out. Therefore, it is not suitable at all for normal or dry skin. It can overly dry the skin, as often mentioned in reviews.

However, for those with porous combination/oily skin, it is a must-have.

I didn't buy it here, but I still want to leave a review. I didn't like the peeling, it dries out and tightens the skin, causing my face to peel. That's it. I didn't notice any positive effects on my skin at all. I will go back to using The Ordinary's milk peeling.

After applying, even on toner, the skin turns red, although there was no such effect at the beginning of use. The result cannot be compared to a professional salon peel. It didn't suit me for daily use, as it started drying out my skin.
