Amouage Renaissance Ashore is inspired by Oriental picturesque landscapes and its rich, unique culture. It can easily transport your senses to Oman, a country of breath-taking natural beauty, remarkably embodying the magnetic Oriental world. You can smell a delicious jasmine grown in sun-lit Ras al-Jinz, one of the gems of the Arabian Peninsula, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches.
If, figuratively speaking, Orient is a fascinating book, then Amouage Renaissance Ashore is definitely one of its most exciting chapters, telling a story about the perfect trio of sun, sea and sand touched by a wind carrying fragrant Indian spices.
The olfactory pyramid of Amouage Renaissance Ashore:
Top notes combine aromatic accords of pink pepper, cardamom and turmeric.
Heart notes are packed with mesmerizing Arabian jasmine and royal rose, perfectly conveying the oriental spirit.
Base notes reveal grey Ambergris, sandalwood, woody and spicy olibanum, creating an amazing trail.
This fragrance interested me, I really wanted to test it. Unfortunately, there was no sample available, so I purchased a decant. It is very floral and spring-like. On me, it unfolded with the scent of lilac or acacia, I haven't quite figured it out yet. I always hear it differently. Perhaps the individual components of the pyramid gave it such a unique sound. It is unusual and suits different moods.
The milk-colored bottle perfectly matches the content. Although at first you may feel a slightly bitter sharpness of spicy notes, it doesn't last long. The development transitions into a dense, voluminous aroma, where jasmine dominates, but it's not a straightforward jasmine. It's a warm scent, somewhat lactonic, definitely not prickly or loud. And of course, the Amouage amber base does everything to make you fall in love with this creation completely.
The fragrance is intense, not superficial, so I see it suitable for any season. Honestly, I haven't encountered freshness in Amouage yet :). In my opinion, this brand is deeper in its concept. It's more like balms rather than cheerful scents that you spray and go)). It's complex.
By the way, someone compared Ashore to Alien. Not at all. To me, Alien is a poisonous jasmine. And in this bottle, there is a delicate flower soaked in milky-sweet syrup with light spices and viscous amber. Perhaps, it's the most beautiful jasmine I have ever experienced.
I love Amouage. I bought it based on the description - I really wanted a jasmine perfume. And I got it. Bright, fresh, and delicate jasmine. A spring-summer fragrance.
