Wow! The price is a bit high, but I never got such results from any other hair ties: no bends, doesn't pull out hair, doesn't stretch out, and holds very well; and it's extremely elegant, as an accessory for both hair and wrist.
A cute hairband, well sewn, soft, doesn't pull or tug. I have long, straight, thick hair, so it doesn't hold a high ponytail very well. But I still recommend it.

The silk is not real. The elastic itself is not bad, it pulls out hair less (but still pulls out) and overall is better than regular plastic ones.
