The MeLuna Orange Menstrual Cup, size M, represents a practical and eco-friendly alternative for those seeking to replace traditional tampons or pads. Crafted from a soft and flexible elastomer, this cup ensures absolute comfort as it remains imperceptible inside the body. Its smooth surface makes it easy to insert into the vagina and allows it to unfold quickly inside. Consequently, the cup forms a vacuum that prevents any fluid leakage. The Classic model is perfectly suited for women with moderately trained pelvic floor muscles.
Features of the MeLuna Classic Menstrual Cup Stem:
- hypoallergenic;
- dimensions of 41 mm in diameter, 48 mm in height, with a capacity of 28 ml, ensure comfortable use;
- equipped with a rim that prevents spillage, offering you confidence in its leak-proof security, even when the cup is fully filled;
- collects fluid without absorbing it, thus preventing the growth of pathogenic microflora;
- the stem-shaped tip makes the removal of the cup maximally comfortable and safe;
- can be used continuously for 8–12 hours.-
Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup; there are different folding methods, so you can try them and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inside, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval after insertion. If you notice any dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
