Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap first. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—you can try a few and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup should open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it is correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice any dents or folds, the cup has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try rotating it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem. If you feel resistance, the suction seal is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
